Unlike other reviewers I didn't find this particulalrly hard to assemble. I would recommend that you assemble it close to where you want it, and you don't put the shelf-boards in until you have the frame positioned where you want it.It is a bit flimsy and wobbly and I would recommend that after you have it in place you drill a couple of screws through it and into the wall just to hold it in place.UPDATE:- As I mentioned above, I ordered a second one. Second time around they are even easier to assemble.But as a basic shed shelving unit - which is what I bought it to be to put my tools on and bits and pieces, it's good enough and I will shortly be ordering a second one.

This is easy to assemble even by one person. If you have help, it will be even faster and easier but one person can assemble this just be careful as some components have very sharp edges. I have 3 variants of Garden shelves and this is the weakest. However, it has the best price-performance ratio so that redeems it.It is quite frail as you build and I was worried that I will end up with very bad Shelves. It also feels a bit frail when empty. Once I loaded stocked the Shelves with the heaviest items at the bottom, they significantly stabilised and they now feel sturdy no wobbling.

Bit of a pig to build, it took me several hours on my own and as I 5"3 woman, I had to stand rather precariously to insert the top shelves.It did require alot of shifting and re-inserting as the tabs have to slide through two metal inserts(?) On several occassions I got so miffed I gave up, but the shelves integrity has not been compromised. I've stood on it before and it supports my weight without groaning (Unlike my partner when he tries to be romantic) and I weigh in about ten and a half stone.I would definitely purchase again if and when they're needed.I'm in the process of spraypainting ours because it's installed in a bedroom as an arts and crafts holder (It's a very big unit, and I kid you not when I say its packed)It is heavy, so make sure you lift properly, otherwise your back will tell you about it.

Firstly, the term ‘Heavy duty’ does not apply to these shelves. The leg pieces kept bending when I was trying to fit them together and the shelves were buckling almost under their own weight before I put anything on them.I initially wanted to use the shelves to store our guinea pig food, hay and sawdust etc, but the shelves were not strong enough and I could only use the bottom shelf for the sawdust and hay. The 5kg bag of guinea pig food had to be stored elsewhere.In the end we only used the shelves for seat cushion storage.Secondly, as you can see from the photos the shelves became covered a fungus and mould. The shelves were next to the backdoor of the garage which is used daily (to access the guinea pig supplies no less) and, the garage is used daily as an exercise room...there is therefore a free flow of air.Worth noting that nothing else in the garage (thankfully, including the cushions) was infected by the mould. Hard to explain why only the shelves became so mouldy in fact.I did flag this to the seller and asked if they could replace the shelves. In their view the shelves were bought 11 months ago and they do not know how the shelves were used (despite my telling them) so they will not replace the shelves.Don’t waste your money or time on this product.

Very sturdy, stable and easy to assemble. I bought two of these to put in a shipping container to hold my shop stock. They were perfect for the job. When my business closed down, I dismantled them, which was easy to do, and then reassembled them and they are now in my garden shed. They went back together just as easily, and are as strong and stable as when I first built them. I would definitely buy these again, and highly recommend.

I ordered this and the larger corner unit last summer and it came very promptly. The shelving was sturdy and fitted in our hut perfectly. During the winter we had some unexpected problems with the MDF boards, perhaps due to dampness in the location. The company has been fantastic at responding quickly to this issue and replaced all the shelving immediately.

I have bought three of these now as they are perfect for storing all my art craft and tools etc. Easy to build and big enough to get lots of stuff on them.The only thing they are not great for is trying to move them once built, so just build in place and leave them there.

I am happy with the item. As a few have said, it’s a little fiddly to assemble but with a little patience it’s ok. Does the job in a shed great.
