3rd box of these I have purchased
This is the third house I had purchased these for. I love how flat they are, and there’s no indentation no place for dust or cobwebs or anything to get in. They are very flat to the ceiling. Absolutely perfect.I purchased the daylight 5K because I like a white blue light. I do not like my colors in the house to be distorted by warm yellow lights. These are perfect. They are dimmable. They are also good for new work or old work. The transformer is not attached. It’s on the tail so you can throw the transformer anywhere up in the ceiling and you don’t have to worry about where the joists are.Easy install, beautiful, sleek look, wonderful, white light, truly updates any space.

Look great
I install these in my kitchen the only problem I have is one has burnt out already in less than 4 years but they're cheap to buy and easy to replace

Great LED lights, easy to install and worked perfectly
Got 24 of these to replace exact same manufacturer (Torchstar) model lights in a condo building lobby. Original install used 5000k (looked like a morgue). Replaced with these 2700k lights. MUCH nicer looking lobby now and looks like a residential building lobby now versus a morgue.Dunno what idiot thought putting in 5000k lights in a residential lobby would be a good idea but glad to have it corrected now.

Great value easy install
We recently bought a farm and our first effort was to build a guest quarters that we could live in while we build a home. I installed a cedar ceiling in the small apartment we put in a pole barn we built. I wanted something small that would not compete with the cedar but put out a useful amount of light. These worked great. Also I put the living room lights (5 in total) on a dimmer, they dim perfectly, no flickering that can be common with some leds. In all I used a dozen of these in a 1BR/1BA apartment and they are working awesomely. Also they fit a 4" hole saw cut out perfectly and hold tightly. Have had them in for about 2 months with no issue.

3 burnt out out of 13 so far
I installed 13 so far, in the past couple months, while remodeling my living room and hallway. So far, 3 burnt out out of 13 that I have installed. Everytime it has been a faulty control box amd not the LED light that has failed. I bought a bunch of these, so I do have extra to swap them out, but it is frustrating that they haven't even lasted a few months without failing, with 2 of them failing within a week of installing.

These are a good choice
I just finished installing 12 of these lights on one circuit for my wife's sewing room. Hadn't done any electrical work in many years. These were installed in bottom floor and the ceiling joists were those ones with V and W studs (engineered trusses ?), so fishing wires was fairly easy.I have seen many questions on which dimmer to use. I used the one below and so far, no buzzing, flickering or anything else. Seems like a good choice.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004DZOMKC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Since I needed to daisy chain these, I did a mockup in my garage to see how hard it was to get an IN wire and OUT wire, tied to the light driver wires. It worked ok but not doing much electrical, it was hard to get everything fitted into the driver box, especially standing on a ladder. So I added a junction box (IN, OUT and pigtail out to driver bo) prior to each driver so if something goes bad, the replacement would be easier. For the most part, my ceiling was empty so I could set both boxes up there without too much concern. One tip is to move the spring loaded clips completely a couple of times to free them up a little. The first one I tried, I almost broke a finger as these things are strong and I did something wrong and caught my finger in it. Once the electrical was tested, I just actuated one spring and set it in the hole. Then gently opened the other and slid it up into the hole and centered it. You should test your hole saw to make sure the diameter is correct. I set mine for 6 1/4" and it was a nice, snug fit.I drilled the holes using the following hole saw. All in all its not a bad choice but after the 8th hole, you could feel these blades getting dull. I know this can't be avoided but the manufacturer should include at least one set of replacement blades. I did get all 12 holes done but I went slower on each hole. I also cleaned off the blades and drill bit after each hole just to eliminate any issues.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B012U1VVD6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1These lights and associated pieces were all very useful and acceptable. I will buy more of these lights.

Great Product but Sloppy Customer Service
Purchased two packs of lights at different times. They are getting installed and work great. The room is way brighter thanks to these LED lights. After purchases I got call from Torchstar saying one of my orders had been cancelled and money refunded. Then, eventually got both parcels in the mail. Almost bought more lights because of confusion. This was only problem. Would buy from this company again though.
