Kodak Ultra Max 400 135/36 Color Photo Film is a reliable and versatile option for both amateur and professional photographers looking to capture their moments with vividness and clarity. As one of the most popular color films in the market, Ultra Max 400 lives up to its reputation by delivering consistent and impressive results. One of the standout features of this film is its versatility. With an ISO rating of 400, it strikes a balance between light sensitivity and fine grain, making it suitable for various shooting conditions. Whether you're capturing outdoor landscapes, indoor events, or low-light scenarios, Ultra Max 400 performs admirably, producing images with excellent color reproduction and sharpness. The film's color rendition is a highlight, offering vibrant and true-to-life tones. Whether it's capturing the rich hues of nature or the vibrant colors of a bustling city, Ultra Max 400 brings a sense of life and vibrancy to each frame. The colors are well-saturated without appearing overdone, allowing for a natural and pleasing aesthetic in the final prints. In terms of grain, Ultra Max 400 strikes a good balance for a film of its speed. While it may not be as fine-grained as slower ISO films, the grain is still well-managed, allowing for clear and detailed images. This makes it particularly suitable for everyday photography, where the focus is on capturing the moment rather than achieving an ultra-smooth, studio-like finish.Another advantage of Ultra Max 400 is its forgiving nature when it comes to exposure. It handles a wide range of lighting conditions adeptly, displaying good latitude for both overexposed and underexposed shots. This forgiving quality makes it a reliable choice for photographers who may be less experienced or shooting in fast-paced situations where adjusting settings may not always be feasible. When it comes to printing or scanning the developed film, Ultra Max 400's inherent qualities shine through. The negatives produce well-defined and sharp images, allowing for high-quality prints with good detail and dynamic range. Additionally, the film's wide exposure latitude ensures that highlights and shadows can be preserved, further enhancing the overall quality of the final prints. As with any film, it's important to note that personal preference and shooting conditions can influence the final results. While Ultra Max 400 excels in many areas, it may not be the ideal choice for photographers seeking an extremely fine-grained or low ISO film.In conclusion, Kodak Ultra Max 400 135/36 Color Photo Film is a reliable and versatile option that consistently delivers vibrant and captivating results. Its balanced combination of color rendition, grain performance, and exposure latitude make it an excellent choice for a wide range of photography needs. Whether you're an enthusiast or a professional, Ultra Max 400 is a dependable companion for capturing memorable moments with a touch of vibrance.

Kodak Ultramax 400 ISO film.
Excellent film. Being used for tripod-based photos requiring a 135mm Zeiss lens and a 3x Soligor teleconverter. A bit 'old fashioned', I know but the quality is still very good. By the way, the film was delivered on time. Can recommend this product if you are still using film. I also have a Canon digital SLR!!!

The photographers colour negative choice
A highly recommended colour negative choice. Kodak being a very reputable photographic manufacturer has always made products that just work well and in this case a negative that is as sharp to the grain as its exposure quality. It is always worth paying more money than using cheap alternatives as the quality can be seen from the use of these colour negatives.
