Purchased This To Make A Feather Lightshade
I was pleasantly surprised at just how big it was. I was aiming to make a large feather light shade and ordered this hoping for the best and it’s huge so I was really happy with that. It is delicate so have to be careful not to rip it etc but that’s very standard for these paper shades. Assembly was straight forward. The only 1 thing I would say is I initially couldn’t figure out how it attaches to the ceiling light, as it’s not the usual put the shade up then use that light fitting bit to screw it to the pendant. It has metalclasp type things on it, which you attach to the actual cord of the pendant light bit, if that makes sense. Maybe this is common knowledge but I hadn’t come across that type of light shade fitting before so took me a few minutes before I figured it out.If you’re getting this to make something similar then you’ll love it as it’s really big and looks so nice now with all the feathers on it. (I used feather boas and pvc glue and so far so good).

Don't waste your money
Rubbish. Arrived crammed in a box too small for it, doesn't hang straight no matter what I try with the fitting, and has several small holes.

Good Basic Lantern
Wanted a cheap, lightweight, large shade for my front room. This 50cm shade meets all my requirements although the paper is rather thin, so be careful when assembling as its easy to tear a hole in it. Having said that, I was impressed that it arrived well packaged, not bent and in good condition.

Just how I remember!
Love it, this is retro without being too retro! JUST as I remember from my yoof! - 'Only SLIGHT comment:- the box it was delivered in was a knat's too small, meaning I had to 'rest' it for a while to flatten it, but no harm done, what's to damage (within limits)?!

Paper shade and colour changing bulb.
Looks great with my ceiling colour changing bulb. I now have a large globe of ever changing colour iny bedroom. HINT - the remote control bulbs can be bought in £1 shops and bargain shops. They look fantastic together.

Perfection
I know paper lampshades are a bit retro but I love them and they are surprisingly long-lasting. They are soooo simple to put together and hang up. It seemed a bit big at first but now I realise it is just right.

Disatisfactory
Well of the wire broke when I tried to assemble it so I fixed by replacing it with a paper clip. So it worked so far.
