I saw this and thought it was cute. Once I received it, it was confirmed that it was cute. However since we've had it for over 6 months now, I can confirm that it is a good purchase. This metal container holds butter well. The wood top has a rubber gasket around it to seal. The little knife on top is very handy. It washes well in the dishwasher and has not faded or rusted. This is a good purchase.

I have another butter dish but wanted something for that “gold” butter so the kids know not to use it. It’s perfect. The lid fits well and I love having the little knife handy for use as well. It’s super cute and easy to open but seals well.

The dish has a great design that works well with any decor. It’s very deep and could easily fit 4 sticks of butter in there if you needed it to. It’s easy to open and it’s air tight. The added knife is a bonus.
