KitchenCraft Stainless Steel Cheese Wires (Pack of 3 Spares)

Bought these to use on a cheese slicer that I wasn't sure exactly how long a wire I needed. Each wire (good quality) comes with a single knot on the end. Tried to twist the wire using a drill, but was unsuccessful. Takes practice, and I didn't have the time to take my time. Found an alternative which did the job. Would recommend as good quality, and you have tools and the time to twist the ends correctly.

This was more of a preventative purchase rather than a cure as the wire on my present cheese slicer has not yet failed though I am confident that these replacement wires will fit. Certainly better than having to throw a useful utensil away because of a broken wire (but then I am of the generation that would prefer to repair things than buy new, thus contributing to both the consumer economy and the depletion of resources).

The Amazon packaging was fine but the internal packaging had seperated and only two of the three wires were present. It is possible that this had occured prior to Amazon packing and one wire was lost. The two wires received were ok but please check the condition of your stock of this item. Due to the small value of this item no replacement is nessesary.

Had bought this hoping it would be suitable for a different cheese slicer but in spite of the length supposedly being long enough, there was no way to change the ends or have enough wire to twist round the ends. In fact it's impossible to twist the wire - it just snaps. So unless you a purchasing this for the product it is intended for it is best not to try and adapt it for a different utensil.

They are OK and are a good price but there is no pre made hook on either end meaning they are fiddly to fix to my cheese board. Took a lot of time to sort out but it does do the job if you have patience.

This product did exactly as described and expected and it meant that I was ale to recommission something I would otherwise have discarded as broken and without further use
