Shannon FABRICSLuxe Cuddle Cut 2Yd-Hide Merlot Fabric

I ordered this 2yd Luxe Cuddle Hide in Natural. I also ordered Shaggy Faux FIR Plush Fabric for Sewing/Minky in the 'Super Soft' brand. The softness and feel of the Luxe Cuddle felt softer and better quality to me so I returned the Super Soft brand. I will say that the difference was not huge, so if you're going for price, the Super Soft might be fine for you. I just thought the Super Soft felt a bit more synthetic or faux-ish than the Cuddle brand which I felt might equate to shedding and/or failure to hold up over time. Of course, I don't know if that's the case, it's just my theory.Now for the Luxe Cuddle, the color is more of a cream than white (It looked more white on my screen) and it's amazingly soft. It has a two-way stretch. I washed and dried it and had zero shedding. The 2yd size I recieved was 61" x 72". I would definitely buy again and am actually looking for more right now.

I have always loved to make blankets out of this material! It is so soft and beautiful! The material is so unbelievable soft! My granddaughter loves her new blanket.

This fabric is my absolute favorite type of faux fur! It's so thick and great quality!! I use it for blankets and scarves!! Taking it slow to sew with if you're a newbie!!

Love cuddle fabric but there are a few things to note. Recommend throwing this fabric in the dryer with a damp wash cloth as soon as you get it. This will get rid of all the excess fuzzies. Do not use scissors! Use a straight blade instead scissors. If you use scissors, you’ll have fuzz balls everywhere. These may seem like extra steps but the smiles it brings when you’re finished making a blanket is so worth it.

Love the feeling of this fabric! I’m using it to make a quilt for my nephews!

I love love Shannon Minky. I bought 2 of these. Two yards for the front and two yards for the back of a throw that I gifted for Xmas. This red Minky is silky and soft with a rich red color. Very pleased with my purchase.
