Well this was a revelation - put an edge back on my knifes straight away. My more expensive diamond coated steels had finely worn down to the metal so I thought I'd try this one. First use and I was astounded, for the price this is an amazing piece of kit. Also while my diamond coated steels all eventually shed their diamonds and ends up just a shiny piece of metal, this one is old school - a steel that is made with ridges cut into the actual metal itself, that should last almost a lifetime.

The box arrived with a hole in the side and the sharpener steel missing. 20 minutes later the driver arrived having found the item loose in his van. Great service from amazon following through on a problem. Really pleased with the sharpener.

Very good product, handle could be a bit thicker as the balance is not to my liking.

Great Item, I've never used a Steel before, went on a Video site to research how to use it and its so simple and works brilliantly! I went round and sharpened all the knives in the Kitchen very quickly. I won't use anything else.

I love this steel, and used it ever day, until it broke after a 1 meter fall. The handle is weak and ruins this brilliant steel.Now I have to figure how to apply for that 25 years warranty they have with it 😅

sharpening steel arrived fast and well packed very robust construction not like some after a few usages they start to loosen at the handle i am a fisherman and require my knifes to be very sharp this steel does this after a few strokes and being stainless steel does not rust in the sea water all in all excellent value for money and would buy again
