Works well
Seems to work very well for my arthritic horse (much cheaper than calling the vet out, when he goes down to roll and can't get back up). Even caught him cantering a few times since he's been on it.

Donkey loves it
Have been offering this daily for my old donkey to self select. He has a few mouthfuls then wanders off. Made an improvement for certain, less stiff on his legs and moving at trot and canter which i've not seen him do for years! Clearly helps him and he just eats it straight out the tub so very palatable.

Effective pain relief
After my horse broke his already arthritic hock last year (by kicking a stone wall) - which healed but he was still lame - and bute flared up his collitis within 5 days of use i thought he would have to be put to sleep to spare him pain. Decided to explore all options to give him a chance at retirement and this product - even at a very low dose - pretty much saved his life. Although it can in the long run cause stomach ulcers, even at a low dose the horse is sound, and giving him a 1 month break every 6 months seems to be enough for him to protect his gut against the irritation it causes (in conjunction with a good gut balancer). The horse is now 100% sound except on exceptionally cold damp days and able to do light work, which stops the joint he broke from stiffening up and becoming sore. He also finds it more palatable in its raw form than powdered/dissolved (can be fed in any of these ways). Since he is no longer able to compete there are no worries about it being detected on swab. And because it is relatively long lasting it continues to work for most of the 1 month break, so if needed he would be able to have more frequent breaks in future. Would recommend to anyone whose horse has a similar problem and no longer competes - just have to avoid if competing in dressage as it is tested for now.

Decent price
This works well on my horse, better than liquid versions I have tried.

Devils Claw Root - Equestrian
I was slightly anxious about using this product as I knew it had been linked to stomach ulcers. However, after a prolongued discussion with my vet and weighing up the pros and cons I decided to give it a go. My horse was diagnosed last year with DJD in both his hocks and we have never been able to get him sound for any length of time in the four and a half years that we have owned him. However, after using Devil's Claw he has only had the odd day of stiffness and is now in daily work. He attends the odd clinic and low level competition with no ill effects. It definitely seems to work for him so I shall continue to use it.

Does the job.. works well for my horse
I use this as supplementary pain relief for my 28yr old horse’s arthritis in conjunction with his vet prescribed one. My horse is 18hh and over 670kg so I use more than one would for a ‘normal’ sized horse and in my opinion it definitely makes a difference. It’s just that extra little bit of help he needs on top of his Firocoxib to keep him happy and sound without any of the detrimental effects of traditional nsaids (his bloods confirm this)I do however buy it from my local tack shop now as it’s only £20 there and at the rate I go through it that extra £4 makes a difference.

Pain relief for my Fell pony Bess.
I have a 30 year old Fell pony, and put her on Devils claw for pain relief she was finding walking difficult after only two weeks her pain was reduced and walking has improved so much that she can now canter in the field, it’s as if the clock has been turned back 5 years.
