Good quality and does the job

Im not personally an expert on mains, I mostly work with LV electronics and so I had to refer to friends and colleagues who do know a bit more about HV and PSU design.But the very first thing I noticed is the lack of proper HV to LV spark gap between the high voltage and low voltage parts of the board, there is a 5mm trace gap but there should be a physical routed out hole in the board. That alone makes this power supply illegal in the UK. Ontop of that (as told by people who know better than me) it also lacks safety rated filtering caps. Also the trace gap between the Neutral and Live traces on the pcb are far too close together and may even short under humid conditions.Amazon really need to start vetting and electrically testing the products it sells, and in this case recommends.No walk in store would ever even have the opportunity to sell a dangerous product like, as the supply chain is regularly vetted and all electrical appliances must provide UK issued testing certificates.

Not capable of delivering the rated 2 Amps, it’s nearer 1.45 Amp max (tested using a Electronic Load) before over-current protection kicks in. I would suggest never to run a supply at the max stated value anyway but this cannot even reach the rated value.

Bought to replace a previous broken charger. It works so in that respect does what it's supposed to.However - the cable length is very short (approximately 1 metre) so only really of use if your box is very close to the power point. The length of the cable is not listed in the product description.Needed a longer cable, so had to purchase another from elsewhere.If a short cable is what you need then this will do the job.

I actually bought this and it wasnt the correct one i was disappointed and not by the product because it was well made and fast delivery to, but i was annoyed at myself for ordering the wrong item, otherwise it would have been perfect.
