QUINKFlow Ballpoint Refills

There was a time when Parker pens and refills were great, but i think those days are long gone. They are MUCH better quality pens and refills from other manufacturers for a smaller price. The only positive I can say about these is I'm sure they'll last through a lot of writing, something I can't say about the much smoother writing cheaper alternatives. So its an item of 'quantity' and not 'quality'. A shame, as finding a similar refill that does both is quite difficult. update: After just a few weeks these both kept having moments where no ink was coming out...nothing, then they'd work for a couple of minutes and then not. Parker refills seem to be TERRIBLE compared to how they used to be, it seems even the extremely cheap alternatives from China are so MUCH better and reliable than these.

Put one of these in to replace the original that only lasted a month. It lasted a week. These used to work in all weathers, but alas, no more.

Black Refills. Both have leaked at the joint with the plastic top that fits in to the 'on / off' button. One pen was kept in a lap top bag, the other in a desk draw, so totally different temperatures and orientations. One pen has a sticky movement to the on off button, the other is stuck hard. Luckily the ink didn't leak outside of the pen and ruin anything other than the pens themselves. Were these original or fake?

Really disappointing - I have a couple of pens given to me as presents that I have always looked after as they have a sentimental value. They are not used heavily - the previous cartridges lasted years - so when they ran out I replaced with these Parker originals - one has now leaked ruining the pen that it was in - its all clogged up and the opening and closing mechanism now doesn't work . Gutted.

The first refill used worked very nicely for a day, then the ink stopped. Tried the normal ‘scribble on a piece of paper’ to get working. That worked for an hour then same problem again. Not the experience I was hoping for - I may give up on Parker and just get cheeper biro’s in future.

Worked great for a day. Next day it was dry and didn’t work. Not much to say other than that. Pens I’ve found at the bottom of my rucksack without a lid for a year work better than this “Parker” quality stuff.

These refills are not very good they write nice and clear for a short time then start to miss parts of letters when writing i wont buy again

I ordered this in August this year to replace for my Parker pen, but it has run out already, and I have had to put in the second refill today. I am going to see how long this one last, as it doesn’t seem right that the first refill has only lasted one month. I am not writing essays, and only covering 2-3 sides of A5 notebook four days a week?
