some other reviewers have suggested that this is a "knock-off" of a Casio model but as I just wanted a cheap watch to tell the time I'm not going to pay over twice the price, I'll take my chances.first impressions are good, watch is well packaged in a nice gift presentation box embossed with the SKMEI logo (turns out this is a popular Chinese brand), quality is nice and the watch feels weighty, well made and the supplied time setting instructions are clear to understand.now for the "but", the stainless steel bracelet/buckle will be too long for most people (giants should be fine) and some small tools and a magnifying glass will be required as links need to be removed (I had to take out 4 in total), this was very fiddly and the supplied instructions mention nothing about having to do this, if you don't feel comfortable doing this then I did find out (by trial and error) that the complete stainless steel bracelet/buckle can be separated from the watch body so you could replace with a different strap (at extra cost obviously).

Delivered as advertised. I was easily able to adjust the strap to suit my size.Happy with it.

I bought this initially to use the metal bracelet for another Watch namely the Casio AE-1200. I did use the bracelet for that Watch. The Photo shows the SKMEI as it is now sporting the Casio AE-1200 rubber strap. I've also modified the screen into the colours of the National Flag of Ukraine. It seems to me that this Watch is either a copy, tribute or rip-off of the Casio AE-1200, it's physically almost exactly the same, however it's not as feature packed as that Casio (several of which I also own). If you need a Watch to tell the local Day, date, time, a stop Watch, alarm, countdown timer to this is all you need. It also has dual time so can be set for one other time zone. As a stand alone Watch it's fine. It also comes packaged very nicely in a tin with a glass presentation lid and has an extensive instruction leaflet with it. Obviously being a 66 year old Man, I didn't read that, I already know everything. In summary, good value for Money.

It is very light which is good, very good relative to its quality. It is good buy.

Feel free to ignore my earlier review and tell me that you told me so......Note to self: never review a watch within two days of its arriving!OK, so the display bled out completely on day three, by which time a watch that had seemed quite accurate had lost seventeen minutes and was clearly missing some of its stated functions.I am returning this because I prefer watches that last longer than a few days, because the so-called "stainless steel" bracelet was - and I'm hardly surprised - a mixture of ferritic steel in the links and the softest monkey metal in the connecting forks.I really thought that this would be a useful source of an electroluminescent display for upgrading my similar looking, but utterly dependable big brand original.That wasn't to be because, even though the cobalt coloured crystal seemed to work in pitch darkness but not in half light or even a slightly darker room, the stuff leaked away completely to the point at which the entire display area became full with the blue liquid.Further note to self: The twin Amber LEDs in the big brand original AE-1200WH do the job just fine and as that original piece has a ten year battery life, the extra current used won't make a significant difference.Oh well, I had to find out, off it goes back to Amazon, bon voyage you useless pile of junk!Lesson learnt.😳 😉
