Prevents tooth damage and lasts a year
I've been using bruxism guards for many years due to wearing my teeth away. This product has worked well for me and I am replacing it after a year just for a fresh one. The pads are still in great condition even with slight tooth imprints.I have a small mouth and this one still fits well. The fit is not perfect. Its not a dentist made product after all. But it fits comfortably in my mouth and I've never had any issues. It does take a few nights to get used to but other that all is good.

Don’t bother.
This was terrible. Every time it was in my mouth it felt like I was choking. What seems like a great idea before you buy turns out to be very poorly executed. Shape didn’t fit my mouth, no comfort. Would definitely recommend the ones you boil and shape to your mouth, even if they are a bit thinner. Don’t waste your cash on this!!!

Much easier to breath / swallow while wearing than other options I've tried
I've tried a couple of different dental guards to prevent grinding of teeth at night. All the others I've tried have made it difficult to breath or swallow, and so I wasn't able to use them at all.The "open" design of this one makes it much easier to breath and swallow naturally. I have had no issues whatsoever in that regard. The front of the guard, which dips down slightly, very effectively prevents slippage (much more than I was expecting, from the picture), but sometimes presses painfully into my lower gums, and repositioning does not seem to help / it finds its way back into that position. This doesn't happen constantly / doesn't always happen noticeably. I've been not wearing it whenever I notice, but not enough to consider it a bad product (certainly better than the others I've used)The cleaning instructions do not seem to be entirely clear / thorough enough, for something that I am keeping in my mouth all night.Price seems a bit high when compared to similar guards, but considering this one *works*, and the others I've tried are unusable, I think it's a fair enough.

Mixed Feelings
I saw this and thought it was a brilliant idea. Well, it is for tooth grinding but I found it helpful, but not a solution, for clenching teeth. They are called 'slim' but I found the sides very chunky in my mouth at the sides. The pads are very good and easily adjustable. I found the left pad was over the teeth I had broken and had repaired because of clenching. This was causing uncomfortable pressure on the teeth so I just inserted the right pad and had the rest outside my mouth. This worked and no-one was going to see me at night!! I am getting used to relaxing my jaw and keeping my mouth shut. That really helps but I still clench the teeth around the pads and have loosened a filling. Perhaps the damage would have been much worse if I did not have the guard in. I am sure that is the case. So, to recap. Brilliant to prevent tooth grinding. Not so helpful for jaw clenching. Easy to adjust but quite bulky at the sides. Comfortable to sleep in.

Very good, however the bite pads are made of a much softer material than the other dental guards in the range, and they are smaller, hence the slim comfort fit. It is very easy to use and is comfortable. However as a chronic tooth grinder (I have cracked teeth previously which is what led me to use a guard upon the advice of the dentist), this was just not substantial enough for me. Within a few months I had bitten through both bite pads and it had to be replaced, unfortunately the product couldn't withstand my determined tooth grinding at night. Not a fault with the product as I should've researched the different products available prior to purchase, which I did when choosing a replacement, and have now purchased a more substantial replacment in the range. I would advise potential customers to check carefully which product would best suit their requirements. I am also of the opinion that the softness of the bite pads may have encouraged me to chew and grind in my sleep, but cannot be sure, I don't think I will have the same problem with my latest purchase however.

It works, BUT!... Impossible to sleep with!
I have persevered with this mouth guard for 20 nights now, because it does work, but I still cannot sleep comfortably and undisturbed with it. After recent dental work, I've either started or become aware of, clenching and sliding my teeth. I had an expensive guard made at the dentists it worked successfully although I found the tight fit left my front teeth continually aching. I accidentally dropped it on the floor one morning and the dog kindly made a few minor adjustments to it...aaaand that was the end of that!... I decided to search for something less "fitted" that might be more comfortable, after scouring the internet I went with this style of guard as it was for small mouths, required no moulding, and I figured it wouldn't feel tight. Opening the box I was shocked at just how small it was, but surprisingly it did fit. The problems I encountered were, firstly that the pads are just way too big, they are so thick it causes your mouth to be more open than naturally comfortable. They are also quite wide so I found that they protruded into my mouth and rested on the sides of my tongue, causing me to constantly change my tongue position to either above or below them. Overall It just felt so large and loose in my mouth, and along with the uncomfortable open mouth position, that I found it difficult to not completely fixate on it which prevented me dropping off to sleep.... after persevering I learned to think past it, and after several nights of use (along with the build-up of tiredness), I finally started sleeping with it in.... I have NEVER been so thirsty at night in my life!!! As the pads make it impossible to close your mouth, you're actually swallowing with your mouth open all night, this obviously causes a very dry mouth! Every night I found myself drinking at least (and I genuinely mean at least) a pint of water!... (so you can add frequent bathroom visits onto the list of things disturbing my sleep). After continuing for 20 nights, hoping I would finally adjust, I never did!.... my sleep has been incredibly disturbed, the final thing that made me quit on this guard was that the adjustment holes, for the pad placements, would press against the outside of my gums (on the side I rested my head), so any movement from tooth grinding would cause this to rub and create a minor small ulcer.... It's a shame as in theory it works, it just needs some minor adjustments to make it actually practical and comfortable enough to sleep with, alternative pad sizes that you can interchange would really help!.... a quick note regarding the looseness of the guard, I did find it unusual initially but quickly got used to it, personally I prefer it and found it more comfortable than the tight fitted one... and at no point did I ever think I might choke or swallow it!...

Was habe ich gemacht?
