Helped me manage high BP
I have been taking this on and off for a couple of years for high blood pressure. For a time I managed on this alone without meds. In more recent times my bp went up to 150/105 so I had to recommence BP medication. Its now down to 112/76. Whilst I've no doubt in the significant role the medication has played, I do not think my BP would have dropped to this level without the garlic. I told a friend in their 70's about this when they were struggling to maintain a safe BP on meds alone. They reported significant measurable benefit within a couple of days of trying it. I have seen no measurable benefit in any other area but I'm happy to continue to take for the benefit it appears to offer in lowering my BP

"Sociable garlic" for all occasions
I've been using this for years. In fact, I'd be hard put to do without it. As a bronchitic asthmatic rheumatic old thing, I need a constant something to keep me off the antibiotics and anti-inflammatories and out of hospital. This does the trick, two to four a day (though of course for crisis conditions I turn to fresh garlic chopped and mashed and tossed back in a glass of Big Tom veggie juice). This stuff is also good for the heart because, in addition to its wonderful anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-fungal, and anti-inflammatory powers, garlic is a blood thinner (btw, your doctor may tell you not to take garlic if you're on blood thinners already). Doesn't give you bad breath because the garlic is fermented. Old Japanese discovery, I believe.
