Codeage SBO Probiotics, 100 Billion CFUs Per Serving, Multi Strain Soil Based Organisms Blend and Organic Fermented Botanical Blend, Shelf-Stable - 2 Pack

We've been trying to incorporate more fermented, probiotic-rich foods into our diet, and as part of that, decided to switch from Culturelle probiotics to a Soil Based Probiotic (SBO). This is one of the more affordable SBO's that still provides a high quality supplement.Be forewarned, if you already try to incorporate probiotic-rich foods into your diet and are otherwise healthy, these will plug you up at the recommended dosage; which is not necessarily a bad thing, because it proves how powerful they are. We became SO constipated after about a week of taking 2 capsules a day that we cut back to one a day, and then one every other day.I imagine these would be excellent for curing antibiotic-induced diarrhea. They are definitely more powerful than the probiotics our family dr recommends.If we've been around sick people or are under a lot of stress, we'll bump back up to 2 a day, but we normally take one a day or one every other day.And, as an added bonus, after incorporating these supplements into our routine, we haven't had so much as a cold in 5 or 6 months.

I have issues with both SIBO and IBS-D, and these were recommended to me. I was hesitant because they are pricy, but if you live with IBS-D, you know price is not always an issue when looking for relief. I am very impressed- my bathroom issues are the closest to “normal” as they have been in 20 YEARS. Yes, I still get urgency at times, but not daily. Yes, I still get diarrhea, but I know if I take 2-3 of these after the first episode, it will resolve before the end of the day. This impressed me hugely, because after 20 years, I had found nothing that helped but a doctor who understood that I might take 3 lomotil at once, but I only needed to do so once a day and not daily and so did not accuse me of abusing them. I much prefer to use natural things that “fix” my issues. Are these a fix? Maybe. They work right now, and right now is what matters to me. They also help with antibiotic diarrhea- again, take 2-3 at one time. It addresses the problem in a day or 2 for me. So yes, I highly recommend these probiotics. They have made my life much more normal.. and that is worth every penny!

I have tried so many probiotic and prebiotic supplements over the years and I really did not feel like any of them made a difference in my daily life until now! I have always had a sensitive stomach but I took these on an empty stomach and had NO issues at all!!! I seriously recommend this product. I felt like my digestion was more normal and I was definitely more regular. I love love love the results. I cannot wait to order more.

I began using these less than a year ago on the quest to find a perfect probiotic for digestive issues I've had for many years (IBS-D). I heard about soil based probiotics and my curiosity was piqued. Other probiotics had just give me worse bloating, gas, and diarrhea, and I'd give up on them. I used one bottle of Codeage SBO as indicated in the directions. I didn't see immediate results, but by the end of the bottle, I was feeling so much better. I ordered a second bottle and used it for a few weeks. I wondered if my gut flora had been realigned and stopped using them to see. And the results seemed to stick! I now only take one every now and then as a preventative (one pill once every week or two, mostly because I have them). I've been doing this for 6 months, and I have had virtually no digestive issues since. I don't really write many product reviews, but I did for this in hopes of it helping someone else.

I don't have the caps from the first order to share, but the second bottle of these probiotics are yellow compared to a light brown of the first bottle I ordered, so I'm wondering why this is? Otherwise, it seems ok. I'm taking them nightly without any side effects...yet.

These probiotics are the only ones that have actually made a noticeable difference for me, and I definitely recommend!

This product is healing my gut issues. I've taken everything to rid candida & get relief from horribly painful monthly diverticulitis attacks. Soil based probiotics are highly recommended by naturopath Dr.Jordan Rubin. They were big part in healing his chronic chrones colitis that nearly killed him. I highly recommend his books to heal gut issues as well. This is a wonderful product & I'm so happy it works so well.

I don’t write Amazon reviews often but this one needs an exceptionI’ve been having all kinds of symptoms that can be related to instability of gut bacteria, hives, cramps, chronic diarrhea… I have had a breath test done at the hospital and diagnosed with overgrowth of certain otherwise harmless bacteria. I got treated with a specific antibiotics targeting that bacteria. It helped me… then as I was going through almost all of the probiotics available on Amazon, I’ve found out this brand.They have changed the looks of the bottle but the balance of good bacteria in these pills are the same and one of the best available… I have had issues with other probiotics where they could sometimes make diarrhea even worse. Most likely they contain bacteria which is already plenty in your guts.Anyhow, I have shown this bottle to my doc and he was very happy with the type of bacteria used. I highly suggest it.
