wonderful shoes
Very nice construction, materials, and look. Got several compliments. Comfortable, too. I got them for tai chi but the narrow sole does not support me edge to edge so balance on one foot is challenging, but maybe I can improve my balance and make them work. I would love to keep on using them for tai chi.I went one higher than the recommended size and they go on with some effort but then are a perfect fit.

Novice dance shoe
Likes:Durable fabricComfortableDislikes:The dorsal strap is not tight enough to provide counter pressure for my planter fasciitis.Purchase these shoes for dancing in a community show because the color was nice to look bare foot and I had hoped to not need to wear my planter fasciitis socks. As mentioned above the strap does not provide the relief I need. Also, I follow the sizing recommendations and found the first pair way too large. Dance shoes should be snug, and they were not. I had to return the first pair and order a second pair one size smaller, which fit nicely. However, even though this pair was snugger, the strap still did not provide enough traction.I wore them for about 40 to 50 hours of dancing, and they have held up nicely. The sole is loosening up a bit - probably because I went down to size, so that is why I called them a novice dance shoe.

Run small!
I bought women's size 10/10.5 for my husband's size 8.5/9 foot (for dancing) and they were way too small. I didn't return them, but kept them for myself as house slippers. I wear ladies size 8.5 and have thin feet. They fit great.

Appropriate Slippage
I bought these for a ballroom dance class my husband and I take. We aren't serious dancers, so I wanted an inexpensive pair of shoes with a good slide factor. I've learned that the shoes can't be too grippy, or you'll dance jerkily and probably turn an ankle. Too much slippage may cause you to fall on a turn or spin. And like the baby bear, these shoes are just right.

Very uncomfortable.
I wasted money on these since I cant wear them. They actually are painful to wear.

Comfort
I use these for ballroom dancing with friends. I have wide feet not used to wearing shoes. I live in the tropics. No foot pain with these. I’m 70 years old

Comfortable jazz shoe
I am between 7.5 and 8 in sneakers (usually wearing 8) with a medium to wide foot. In this shoe I got both the 8 and the 7.5. The 7.5 fit better in the length (the 8 was slightly too long) but the 7.5 is more snug in the width and harder to fit with socks. However, compared to regular jazz shoes, these are much more comfortable for me. The heel is a bit flatter, so it doesn't hurt my arch. There is no arch support but the cushioning is good and protects my feet during jumps. I might glue in a small felt arch support, but overall these are great and I like them better than normal jazz shoes.
