They're pegs and they stick in the ground which is great, considering that is what I ordered and they do what I ordered them for.Delivery was faster than predicted upon purchase, happy days.

heavy duty tent pegs
I bought these to secure (with some guy ropes I have purchased off another Amazon seller) a cheap plastic greenhouse on my allotment to provide extra strength so the lightweight greenhouse would not fly away in the wind. I was very surprised at the strength and good quality of these tent pegs on receipt, I was not expecting them to be so strong. I would buy these again.
