Tested @ SWR of 1.00 - 1.01 across GMRS channels
UPDATE-3: confirmed that it is a compatibility problem with TIDRADIO TD-H8. The strain relief boot on the antenna is hard platic. The diameter of the boot is larger than the space available around the SMA connector on the radio. As received it will only go 1.5 to 2 full turns before the boot bottoms out on the case, so there is very little engagement of the threads. The stock rubber duckie goes 5 to 6 full turns. So what happens if you keep turning past two turns is that the SMA female of the antenna will pull itself out of the bottom of the antenna and also break the glue that holds the boot on. If the boot were rubber instead of hard plastic this would not be a problem. To make it work sand or file the outside diameter of the boot into a tapered cone that starts at 13.6mm diameter. This allows the boot to pass the shoulder of the antenna hole in the case and the SMA connector can engage fully with radio. SWR of 1.00 so 4 stars. Good electrically but may required modification to work with your radioUPDATE:-2: Replacement appeared fine before installation, however it did not function once installed on the HT. I removed the antenna and the same problem with the recessed center conductor. Maybe the is a compatibility issue with the SMA male connector in the TIDRADIO TD-H8. Added some stars back because the SWR was 1.00 on the tester before I installed it on the radio.UPDATE-1: center conductor (female) no longer makes connection with radio. Verified with SW-102 that no connection SWR reads 19.98 which is same as no antenna. Center of connector is visibly deeper than other antennas I have. Replacement orderedSticker says tuned for GMRS 155/462Mhz. SW-102 showed SWR of 1.00 to 1.01 for the whole GMRS range of simplex channels. Comes with a o-ring if you have a gap. I like the orange color. I'll update after I have a chance to test against a repeater.

Not as advertized
Claims it was suitable for a Radioditty GM-30. NOT. I would return but not worth the hassle.

Better Than Nagoya 771G
Noticeably better than the Nagoya 771G. It receives and transmits stronger and clearer. Highly recommend if you're transmitting on GMRS or MURS frequencies.
