Sturdy, Reliable Brush With Lots of Use
My brush is as good as new after 11 months of vigorous use to scrub horses' water trough two or three times a week. It is still as stiff as day one, bristles are not bent or breaking, and the bristles do not come out. The only improvement I would like to have is for it to have stiffer bristles on at least one end to deal effectively (with less repetitive scrubbing in those areas) with stubborn algae that likes to form in a couple of corners. I want to point out that I do use some "elbow grease," meaning I do exert pressure, but since I want the ends of the bristles to be doing their job, I know it is important that I do not put too too much pressure on the brush while scrubbing, which would be counterproductive.
