I used these gloves over the last few weeks in use with an outside wood burning stove. Firstly, the gloves are big enough for large hands, comfortable to wear, and so far they haven't shown any signs of failure. However, i would not recommend anyone to use the gloves if it involves handling hot ash or burning logs for any length of time. I was cleaning out the ash from inside the stove this morning, and was immediately aware that the heat from the ash had gone through the gloves at the finger tips, i was surprised at this, and will be more careful in the future.I honestly do think that anyone who buys a stove or use a fire pit should always buy a pair of fire resistant gloves of this time, with enough material to cover the wrists and some of the arm. When looking for a new pair, i will probably spend a bit more, but for 8.99, to be fair and if you're only using them for light use, then i reckon they're fine.

These gloves do the job, but may not last for ever - but the price is fair.

Very good for the money. But a bit large, but still does the job intended.

Good looking gloves and comfortable to wear but be careful how hot the items you pick up with them are. Good for putting logs into the fire but let the ashpan cool a bit before you pick it up.

I looked up and I last bought a pair of these 12 years ago. They were used daily throughout the winter and had only just worn out. Great value for money.
