My husband see these on a Ad (to be fair - it was not from this exact item/seller/producer, etc) and wanted one for on his dash - after purchasing, the information/warnings about the product specify that it cannot be left in the sun because, discoloration may occur and may cause weakening of seal and result in leaks. Which is fairly disappointing (hence the 4 starsz even though it isn't the sellers fault it isn't useable for what he wanted - that could (should) have been declared within the product information). Other than that, it's as expected...though I will say, it does seem a bit on the expensive side, especially if you don't abide by the limitations for where you can put it as it might leak.

The product is (5 star) one of the best thing but this is an titanic ship not the pirateship. This product get white-Ness in the water dues to high heat by sun but it get normal by the over night. It's been 8 months with this product now. The solution is leaking now best its glued base getting weak and now solution keep leaking in bright high temperature sunlight. Just the extra info, use any small towel to cover it only when you left your car in the summer direct in sunlight. if the car is standing in the shade that is well in good nothing will happen.

We love this little thing. But I'd say it's much more fun to just play with. We put in on our dash in the vehicle and it doesn't get much movement. But it's super cool and fun to try and drown the ship.....which is impossible.

Had this on the dash board for two days then it leaked all over it and stained the dash.
