We use dozens of these LR44 cells every year in thermometers, Christmas decorations and the like and always get them from Amazon. By shopping around through the various listings we have always managed to secure a good deal and the price we paid for the last two batches, totalling 200 cells, was 5 pence each - more accurately £5.29 per 100.The cells we got appear to work perfectly well, but I had no way of knowing if they were underperforming others that cost more - we did seem to be changing them quite often, but not so much it was a bother.I decided to get some more expensive cells (45 pence each) and I was expecting to find I had been wasting my time replacing rubbish batteries, but I found I wasn’t!I tested the cells using a ZB2L3 electronic device that discharges them and measures how many Ah are supplied before a target discharge voltage of 1.2V is reached. The cells are 1.5V and looking on the Internet at manufacturer’s specifications a capacity of 150mAh seemed typical.I decided to discharge the cells through a 1kΩ resistor which would draw 1.5mA, this would discharge a 150mAh cell in just over 4 days. It wouldn’t be fair to discharge the cells too quickly as they are used in very low current devices - our thermometers last for months, the Christmas decorations a couple of days.The results of the tests were surprising. The expensive cell had a capacity of 133mAh just below the figures I found in the specifications from recognised manufacturers. The Eunicell I have been using for years, that cost only 5 pence each, had a capacity of 288mAh, more than twice as much.I only tested one cell of each type and it’s only fair to consider they might not be consistent throughout the batch.The conclusion is expensive LR44’s are not worth getting and the cheapest ones are.

Good value for money

I use these in the laser pen to play with my cat.They last longer than the batteries that came with it. The sheer quantity of them means I don't have to worry about buying batteries for it again, and the EXCELLENT value provided means I'm not spending around £3 for a pair of these, which is what I find them for in the high-street.Only down side is that they can sometimes be tricky to get out of the packets, but that is minor.

Plenty of power for my needs and they are lasting really well. Can be a little tricky to remove them if you have bad hands .

Work well in battery powered fairy lights.

Très contente de mon achat, pour preuve c'est la deuxième fois que je me fourni chez ce vendeur. J'ai été livrée très rapidement, rien à dire. Les piles sont identiques à celles que je recherche et beaucoup moins chères. Je me sers de ces piles pour la veilleuse de ma fille la nuit (3 à chaque fois). Je pense revenir vers lui lorsque mon stock de piles sera épuisé.

El pack es muy completo al traer 100 pilas ya que suelo gastar muchas. Ofrecen una duración adecuada. Volveré a comprarlas
