BrotherInnovis NV 1300 Sewing Machine

Great machine does all I want and more.Love it!!!

I love this model from Brother..It has all features needed for experienced sewers .

the autothreading broke straight away. Amazon are not interested and don't care about warranty, brother care a little but to fix, I was told to go to their service which is only open occasionally and advised that they don't accept that this is under warranty.

I have recently purchased this machine as I have the wonderful Brother FS130QC as well as the Brother Innvois 750e Embroidery only machine. This is a super, duper machine, high quality, very sturdy and heavier than most of the Brother sewing machines, but has a great strong carrying handle and a great substantial dust cover. The range of work you can do on this machine is phenomenal, the wide satin stitches it produces is to a high professional finish and if you use embroidery thread as your top thread the standard of sewing is outstanding. The availability to use special stitches (straight and zig-zag) to sewing up, down across is wonderful using the N foot -for using with difficult appliques this feature is a Godsend.The extra length on the J foot allows you to progress through difficult material and varying weights with ease and the special feature of the feed dogs underneath grip the material well making your straight sewing a breeze. It is the vast array of stitches that really has impressed me and you can stretch them to 1.5 inches in width, which means that embroidering a lovely design on pillow cases, duvets and garments stunning. For the person who wants to dress make, interior design, and general sewing needs, this machine is a must. You might think that the cost is rather prohibitive, but I can assure you the machine is worth every penny. The same automatic threading as the Innvois 750e is great as I do not have to think about the mechanism now or have to learn a new system. Reverse and support stitches as well as the thread cut can be set automatically by pushing a button, brilliant when quilting, but the added bonus of the presser foot lifter makes quilting double bed quilts easy as the machine has plenty of room on the sewing pad to take it. I am really so glad that I spent the money on this machine, this is the one that will stay on the sewing table. With the added bonus of a huge clip-on extension table available with the Brother Creative Quilting Kit manoeuvring large pieces of material and double bed sized quilts is no problem. If you want a seriously good professional sewing machine - BUY the NV1300 you will not be disappointed.
