Just the job
These are super clippers, they are light to use, are quite quiet, they do a good job. I have a silky haired cocker spaniel and they cut his hair well. The battery has a good life and they are easy to recharge. It comes in a sturdy case with different cutting length options, oil, a cleaning brush, charger cable and an instruction booklet.

Great bit of kit. Battery life was about two hours
Great price for a quality clipper set. Easy to use when cable free. Good at cutting but make sure you keep the cutter free of hair to continue to do a good cut. Nice and quiet so my dog wasn't fazed by the noise. Nice and neat little case too, to keep it tidy.

Good but Poorly Presented
Update Feb 2025: the battery has gone, after 3 years. It still works from the mains, but very short battery life.I bought a cheap clipper set in the past from Wahl, including scissors, combs and a mi7llion useless accessories. What prompted me to buy this set was the absence of all the useless accessories, less is more, any set including all that tacky rubbish is just for sales motivation. So here is basically a roaring clipper at the business end of the spectrum with a large supply of clipper oil, a long cable, 6 clip-on length attachments from 4.5 to 25mm. The blade itself has a lever with 5 adjustments from 0.7 to 3mm.Negatives:* It comes poorly presented in the standard Wahl plastic case. The manual cannot sit comfortably in the case (it's 2cm too long or too wide so you need to bend it) and you just throw the parts inside anyhow. The hinge of the case is just thin bendy plastic, take it from me, it breaks after ~6 months, get your sellotape out. The case has rounded corners and is unnecessarily bulky for stowing away. In the USA there is beautiful design from companies like Apple at one end of the scale, on the other end we have Wahl, the purely basic, thoughtless, clunky and clumsy couldn't-care-less way of thinking. Photos attached to show how messy it looks. This chaos gets annoying to deal with over time, open the box and pieces fall out, digging around for things, etc.* The oil applicator is too wide to apply oil at all the points in their instructions, see photo with yellow card - same whether the blade is attached or detached.* First use requires charge time of 16 hours.* Charger is proprietary, perhaps usb would offer more flexibility and less waste in this day and age.* NOT FACTORY SEALED. I like my electronics to arrive sealed. This set doesn't even look new when opened. Anyone is free to mess with it. The plastic Wahl case has an unsealed cardboard sleeve around it, that's it!The Good:* No nonsense clipper with high grade blade (I cannot vouch for it, it's just what's been written and I believe it)* Runs from battery or mains.* Long cable. Plenty of oil. Only includes the necessities.* Relatively quiet maybe compared to barber shops but don't expect too much - it makes the expected sound.* Made in Germany.I cannot say how good the battery is yet. If I run into problems with cutting I'll update, no update means it cuts just fine.Update:Cutting: blade cuts extremely well at blade setting 1 (shortest) but for my cocker spaniel with long hair, it snags on the longer settings. The shortest setting goes through knots when moved slowly. The comb attachments work well as long as the hair is brushed or free from knots and the clipper blade is on the shortest setting, excellent results. The design of comb allows quickly pushing the attachment off with the thumb to remove unforeseen knots.Battery: first charge of 16 hours gave cutting time of an hour with one battery light remaining. It says optimal battery achieved after 5 charges. It fully charges in an hour.Other: instructions recommend cleaning blade with Wahl hygienic spray cleaner, not included - you can buy on Amazon as a set that includes yet another bottle of oil, because the price of the hygienic spray on its own is the same as the set - something wrong there.Manual is annoyingly disorganised and complicated, just like the overall product presentation. Is it worth £100 compared to a £40 cheaper set? Maybe, the cutting is certainly better, it's cordless, time will tell - if the blade is durable, I'd say it's worth the money.

Must have for home grooming
So I have a cockapoo Logan he is very good and I can do anything with him I owe several wahl clippers kmss corded and I took the plunge and bought the km cordless yes they are the best clippers I have but only because there more powerful. These are powerful in there own right these are handy as they are 5-1 blade I use comb attachments so I use 40 setting with the combs and 10 setting for hygiene cut bum groin area and 30 for paws. These clipper will easily go full groom as I mentioned I have a better clipper but I use these over the km Logan is a fair size cockapoo has a miniature poodle dad but is very slight built around 12.4 kg he has a thick curly coat and boy it grows fast. I used YouTube to learn how to groom him. He lets me do anything he is so funny if I ask him for his paw to clip or do his nails he just gives them to me. So these don’t heat up like the km cordless and other A5 snap on blades I use comb attachments on all my clippers so the blades don’t touch his skin. But these don’t get hot at all. These are also the quietest of all clippers. I love these and if I was honest I would say if u like me r a home grommet my boy only then thes r all you need. I have the trimmers as well they r very good as well easy to use and clean. Well recommend.

Battery dies and can’t be replaced
Bought these clippers as they purport to be premium & a quality brand. They have been used every 3 months for 2.5 years… the battery is not retaining a charge and the clippers have very little power even when plugged into the mains. Having taken the clippers apart to see if the battery can be replaced I found they are made in China and have 3 AA rechargeable batteries glued together. For this money the clippers should last far longer when cleaned & oiled after every use. Having used these only 10-12 times honestly the quality is very poor.

Clear and clean the blades
Awesome product, saw a few reviews saying doesn't cut well blah blah.I used them for the first time and they cut brilliantly, super smooth and pretty quiet. Then they stopped cutting and pulling at the hair.. I took OFF guard and noticed the hair had clogged. Cleared it, out the guard back ON and it cut brilliantly again. Excellent product. Now I've shaved my wife's back I can use the on the dogs... lol JOKE... the dog doesn't need cutting.🤣

Great clippers, well worth the investment
Finally a pair of clippers that can cut my dogs hair! I've gone cheap several times and regretted it. Each pair slightly more expensive than the last, but essentially the cheap options are all the same device! These were expensive compared to what I wanted to pay, but in the long run I should have just bit the bullet and got these in the first place.Holds charge well, can be used plugged in or not. Attachments are solid, case is sturdy and they're quieter than the cheap models, bit silent by any means, but definitely quieter. The other good thing about these is they don't clog as quickly as the cheap ones. A regular brush out and this worked really really well!

Good clippers but comb arrived broken
Great set of clippers but unfortunately the number 3 comb arrived broken - is there someone from customer services that can help me out as I've binned the cardboard surround so can't send it back for a replacement. Seems a bit daft anyway as I just need a new Nō3
