Boxer Gifts Candles with Multi Drip, Pack of 2, White, SP7221

I love these candles. They contain red, green and blue wax that drips to form strange and beautiful shapes as the wick burns. Think of one of those 1960's blob lamps in slow motion but with multi colours. Sometimes the wax bubbles and sometimes it creates peaks and then runs down the side in a dripping motion that creates wonderment and awe. It reminds me of the sort of dripping candle that you used to see in Italian restaurants when the candle was placed in an empty bottle of Chianti with a wicker casing and it would create a flickering ambiance as you ate your spaghetti ragu with twizzled forks similar to the characters from Lady and and Tramp as the waiter serenaded you with a rendition of Funiculi Funicula. "Later on they went off, to where the music was soft, the candles were drippy, they met a real hippy, who delivered their dinner" sang Frank Zappa on his 1978 album Zappa in New York. How he would have loved these candles; these candles are even better than than the New York / Italian jobs from the 1970s they have vibrant psychedelic colours. Simply amazing.

As described, excellent drip, my wine bottle/candlestick holder looks awesome!

Drip quite well but colours are a bit dark and the wax tends to clump a bit.

I love these drip candles . They are the best on the market. I’ve tried others but none last as long as these.

No complaints love them, will definitely buy again

+ Higher than average burn time. I'm filming one of these for a timelapse project, already passed the advertised 4 hours burn time with a good 1/3 of the candle left to burn!+ Multicolored wax looks ok but also a bit of a mess... a bit more solid and less drippy than the picture. I had ones in black and red called "weeping rose" previously which i did prefer to white + multicolored. Wouldn't recommend if you have lights in the room but in the dark it's OK.- Color wax on the outside forms a sort of crown where wax can pool up which can snuff out the flame. Candle needed to be re-lit 3 or 4 times during first 4 hours of burning including one occasion where I needed to tip the pool of wax out of the candle. Not much air flow in the room so a room with a slight draft would cause the candle to stay lit a bit more consistently I feel.= Overall not bad, not perfect since it needed re-lighting a couple of times. Impressive burn time which has definitely surpassed my expectations given other reviews saying theirs didn't burn long enough. The effect itself is not really as you would expect from the sales pitch but can look fine so long as the room is dark.

Great candles , not as prominent on the colour as shown in photos but overall are fun

It's always difficult to find candles that give a good drip effect and these multi coloured candles do the job really well ... I'm trying to get a good wax coat on the first bottle of champagne my wife and I ever shared and these are doing a great job of getting this started ... nice burn but not very long lasting .... maybe 6-8 hours

Burn suuuuuper fast so not great value for money.
