While baking my Christmas cake, I suddenly realised I didn’t have a big enough cake tin to store it in once baked. Found this lovely set, all fit inside each other when empty. Very practical sizes, the large one easily accommodated my 20cm round Christmas cake, and the two smaller ones are perfect for mince pies and other delights! I like the pattern on the tins, but they’re not too Christmassy that you couldn’t use them all year round. Very nice quality, and value for money.

Arrived quickly. These are pretty and keep biscuits and cake fresh. Just what I wanted.

Good seals and nice size

These tins are just tip-top: pretty colours, great sizes and of excellent quality.

*Do note, these have just arrived and haven't yet been tested - they've neither carried nor stored cake, nor have they been washed yet.It's hard to find cake tins that satisfy the aesthetic demands of an 11-year-old boy, it must be said. Pink polka dots, flowers, cute animals abound on the other choices we looked at, but these were - for us - the stand-out option. For a start, they're not quite as bright and jolly as pictured, in fact, the colours are much more pastel (and pleasing) in their shades. The pink is a traditional candy stripe (like on the old sweet bags) and if, like me, you have an avid baker with an allergy to pink, it fits snugly inside the blue (largest) tin with ease.While we've not used these yet, they do seem well-made and sturdy, with nicely-fitting lids that slide on and off with that satisfying, gentle "Shooom" sound. The decoration is simple but lovely and well-finished and flawless.They're a joy to have in the kitchen, cheerful and lovely to look at, perched up on my "Good Things" shelf (the special coffee pot, the nice jam pot, you know...) and 11-y-o baker and I are very much looking forward to filling them with delicious treats for people**mostly ourselves.
