Enjoy making sushi!
Okay. Once in a while a gadget delivers and this one does - in spades. It's a strange looking thing, and it comes in 3 parts, not two; the bottom bit is in two parts to aid removing your finished sushi. It just works. The first time I used it, my very first roll was perfect. And it's amazingly easy to use which makes forming the sushi FUN so that you can concentrate your efforts on creating the fillings and not in rolling the perfect roll with a bamboo mat. I can't praise this little gadget enough; it's reasonably priced, robust, compact, easy to clean and makes perfect sushi. Enjoy making sushi!

Excellent Product
I ordered this item because it looked well made for the price. It arrived within three days and I have to say the build quality is just terrific. It's made from sturdy plastic and will last for years. It comes with instructions but it doesn't take much to figure it out. I have made many, professional looking rolls and I am looking to see if it might be possible to shape, say, sausage rolls in it. Reckon it's worth a try.

Such a simple idea
Arrived very quickly and so easy to use. Perfect sushi every time. At first I couldn't get the sushi out after cutting but I was being to delicate with it. Now I just turn it upside down! Can't see it breaking - not sure that would possible, it's very solid - I would immediately get another.

Needs practise
Not sure whether it's any better than the cheaper Sushi roll maker at a third of the price. You need a very sharp knife otherwise the ingredients just squash particularly because the dry seaweed sheet needs just the right amount of moisture to soften, (not explained in the instructions, not enough and it doesn't cut well, too much and it's too soggy). There is also a tendency for the sushi rolls to stick to the plastic press so when you release the rolls fall apart. Most probably with a lot of practise you will achieve what is expected of this device. As I commented at the start the cheaper roll maker achieves the same result once you develop the knack. Not an improvement.

A helpful tool!
I love to make sushi and this is super helpful. Goes much faster and the rolls turn out very neat. I deducted one star simply because the directions could have been better on how to use it. My friend has one and she showed me how to use it - without her, I may have had some problems figuring it out (as I am admittedly bad at such things).

Si sabes enrollar con esterilla, vas a tardar más con este aparato y no merece la pena. Las hojas de nori son mas grandes y las tienes que cortar. Eso si, todos los sushis quedan igual.

Funziona bene, per i principianti del sushi
Per chi vuol provare a cimentarsi nella più nota pietanza della cucina giapponese, con questo semplice oggetto si ottengono discreti risultati, magari non al primo colpo ma dopo qualche tentativo. Chiaramente servono i vari ingredienti ma soprattutto manualità e la base di riso ben fatta, altrimenti porterà soltanto a impiastri e delusioni. La plastica del prodotto è robusta e priva di odori, come deve essere qualunque materiale ad uso alimentare.
