Awful! They are bumpy underneath the 1st layer and tear your mouth up. The flavor is not great either.

These suck… for a long time, take good five minutes to dissolve. Good size and packaging, visually pleasant, that’s pretty much the only good part. Initial coating barely has taste, resin bag. Outer layer dissolves to small rough spines, still weak on flavors, some fruity hints, not strong enough. Once gumball size, solid layers taste like caulk, drywall paste, and sugar. Finally the core reveals about dime sized sweet tart center but without the tart and more airy. Far from classic retro, looks and shellac, great for desk giveaway (jar with tongs), they won’t be back for seconds, either will I.

This candy was a reward for a granddaughter that was having trouble getting along with another one of her sisters. I gave her a challenge. She was to do five nice things for her sister and or think of five nice things she liked about her sister within a weeks time. If she was able to do that, then she would receive small bag of jawbreakers, which are her favorite candy. She told me at the end of the week that it was very hard, but she did it. She actually thinks that she likes her sister more than she did before.
