Writes beautifully and looks so elegant

Just received this today and on first opening I must say this is one of the most stunningly beautiful pens I have ever seen. I feel decadent just owning it. You almost want to sit and stare at it , never mind write with it.However, in practical terms, it seems well made and looks classy. It's fairly weighty and if you keep your lid on the end of the pen, it's slightly top heavy but I'm good with that as I like a bit of weight. Pen lid fits on with a nice snap. I was worried about the fine nib as I'm used to a medium and the nib isn't changeable but it's absolutely no problem.It comes with a piston converter but takes international standard cartridges too. I'm looking forward to using it with my Diamine inks.It writes nice and smoothly, no dragging or scratching so far. My only slight disappointment is you can't change the nib yourself. But I shall be using it as my everyday pen and I anticipate enjoying it enormously.

Bought this pen as a present and it arrived in good time the presentation is excellent beautifully finished in stunning color beautiful easy writing worth every penny. No photograph as I have given it to my granddaughter for her 18th birthday,she was over the moon with it as she is a pen fanatic..ps perfect present stunning box with ribbon pen plus carrying holder in a little bag..extremely pleased with my purchase 5*+

The whole experience of opening the package was fantastic. It is so well presented in every way and then the when you see the pen you could not be disappointed. I am delighted with my purchase.

My weakness is fountain pens. I saw this pen and decided to add it to my collection. First impression was the beautiful packaging (see picture). The pen itself is well crafted and looks stunning. To be honest it looks far more that the price paid. It is substantial though not overly weighted. The cap is solid with a pleasant click on closing. The nib writes well, with no bleeding and I would say somewhere between fine and medium (not quite as fine as some Chinese nibs). Overall delighted with the pen.
