Rhinos Don't Eat Pancakes

Beautiful story about actively listening and being heard.
This is such a lovely book. We’ve really come to love Anna Kemp and Sara Ogilvie’s work, the characters pop off the page and they tell stories that brilliantly capture the imagination of my four year old. We bought and received this in time for pancake day. We absolutely love the rhino, his expressive face is fabulous. It was also so timely in the midst of a busy home working and home-schooling household to pause and really listen to each other. It’s so important to actively listen and know that you’re heard when your speaking.

Nice book, perfect for pancake day
This is a great book, especially to share at this time of year (pancake day). It's humorous but with some serious messages too. Promotes some great discussions and the illustrations are lovely.

Hilarious
Book arrived in very good time. Great service. Very amusing young reader’s book about parents who are too busy to listen to their children! Some grandparents may well give a knowing chuckle or two when reading it!

And the moral of the story is...
A lovely book with a few chuckles in it for the adult reading it to their child, and a nice little reminder for parents to listen to your kids.

Brilliant for rhino conservation
Fantastic way to raise awareness with young readers about rhino conservation ... even with a purple rhino :) Well written and funny, our 4 year old is taking this book to school for book week.

A must!
Hilariously funny. Kids love it. But also a mirror for the parents who are always too busy with their iphone or computer to spend quality times with their children. Loved the ending!
