Solid sharp folding pocket knife
I have used this for multiple things since I received it and so far it works great (very sturdy and well made). I wanted an additional knock around knife to use around the house. This knife is great. The only reason I am subtracting a star is that I feel it is overpriced. Though I received it for free via the Vine program, the current sale price for this is $49.99. I have seen very similar knives of roughly this same quality for closer to the $30 range. This is a good solid knife, and if you can find it on sale, I would definitely recommend it.

Doesn't lock open
Once again, I misread the description and thought this was made in Japan. I've always been impressed with Japanese blades and had high hopes for this knife. Unfortunately, it is made in China and it shows. When it arrived, the handle was smeared with grease. Not a huge problem, but it wasn't a great first impression. From the photos, I thought it would be easy to flip open with one hand using the little lever that sticks out at the end. It turns out, I can do it with one hand, but I have to use my thumb to press the lever so the blade opens toward my palm, making the process a bit slow and awkward. The worst part is that it doesn't lock open. The part that is supposed to bend inward and block the blade from closing is too long so it doesn't clear the bottom of the blade. As a result, this knife is totally unsafe to use.I'll have to disassemble it and try and grind down that part so it'll lock. Would not recommend.

Not very sharp… a good thing for me
I got this for my 13 yo nephew, he’s very much into knives and “manly” devices right now. I got this in hopes of an easy opening and closing, to avoid any fingers getting injured. He opened it and tried it out. Luckily, very easy to use. I asked him if the blade was sharp he relied “no, not really”. He sounded a bit disappointed. But I me on the other hand was like “whew”. The blade can definitely be sharpened to one’s desire. But his will be supervised. We are very happy and pleased with the newest addition to the knife collection

Nice heavyduty knife
The knife is heavy duty. It's not one of these $5 knifes you see in store around Christmas time. There is a little difference in the way I'm used to a blade opening and closing but I quickly figured it out. Comes me a case and cleaning cloth. Super nice, I'm impressed. Would make a great gift.
