Hapinest Beginner Sewing Kit for Kids Arts and Crafts Gifts for Boys and Girls Gifts Ages 8 9 10 11 12 Years and Up

Gave this to my 11 year old granddaughter for her birthday. I do a lot of needlepoint and felt crafts, and she has always taken an interest in it. This kit includes everything you need for various projects. The instruction is wonderful....very easy to read and follow. Everything is explained in detail in age appropriate language. The projects are also rated by difficulty, so the child can start learning basics before doing a more complicated project. My granddaughter loves it!!

My daughter is just starting sewing. I love the large east to find needles. However they sent a pamphlet of different crafts but did not send the color fabric for the project. She ended making a blue sloth pin.

I got this sewing kit for my 9 year old for Christmas. The kit has several different cute projects and comes with felt, thread, ribbon, sewing needle, and patterns. I really liked that the patterns can be traced so multiple kids can make the same thing, felt is easy to work with and makes good first projects, and the projects come with clear step-by-step instructions. The projects require several different sewing techniques including cutting out patterns, sewing buttons, embroidery, etc. that beginner will need help with.

This sewing kit has a nice variety of tools and materials to spark the imagination. The instruction booklet is especially nice for beginners, with directions for basics (eg. how to separate strands of thread, how to tie a knot in thread). The reading level is appropriate for the age range (8-12+). I think the kit will be enhanced by adult assistance, at least for learning the basic skills - it’s always helpful to see someone demonstrate how to hold the tools, where to place stitches, sewing buttons, etc.). One suggestion - although the items are nicely separated, the bags they are in fall apart with one use. Softer, sturdier plastic bags would greatly improve the kits. All in all a good start for beginners.

El conjunto es bien completo las instrucciones son claras y fáciles de entender. Los materiales son de buena calidad, el único material que no vino en la caja fueron las tijeras, todo lo demás está incluido. Me encantó. Lo mejor es que además de jugar están aprendiendo una habilidad para la vida.

This needs adult supervision but was a good “arts and crafts” activity

This is a fun kit for children who want to sew. It is easy to use for the older ones, the younger ones may need help cutting out the pieces but if that is not a big deal if they don't get it exactly right then it is fun for them to just try it on their own and see what they can do. The little finished pieces are cute.

I got the Hapinest Beginner Sewing Kit for my Neice & Nephew, 9 & 11, because they like creative things and also it looks like something fun we could all do together when they stay over. It is a well thought out kit with plenty of supplies & easy to follow instructions in order to complete each of the many projects. I already know how to sew but this kit is great for a true beginner. We all had a good time with the chosen projects & I can happily recommend this to others.
