Vicvol Electronic Dog Repeller

I bought this to put on my foster dog's collar (I'm going to adopt him). It's a good size, and looked nice.The only problem is, the metal clip that comes with it -- which is in the pictures -- is not secure enough; it's just too flimsy. And, if you think about it (and you look at it after you get it), it's easy to see why -- it's the type of clip that's designed to easily come apart so you can clip it on and off.If you have an active dog -- mine is rather spazzy; it's just his nature -- it can easily come off while the dog is running, chasing, grappling with toys, playing with other dogs, etc.I honestly don't know where/how my dog lost it. One day I noticed it was no longer on his collar. Not a good feeling, knowing your dog lost a "St Francis Protect Us" charm... :(I'm familiar with jump rings, because I like to make my own jewelry. So that's where I got the idea of using a steel jump ring instead of the included clip to attach it to the D-ring on the dog's collar. That would be much more secure.I'm going to buy another one of these charms, and next time, that's what I'm going to do.

Recently gave my dog's St. Francis medal to another pet who is ill and ordered this replacement with an extra for a gift. The medal comes with a beautiful small prayer card with a prayer for pets on its reverse side. I think this medal is just the right size and weight - the only negative is that the details on the St. Francis side is lacking a little detail, but you can certainly figure it out. Overall, perfect for price!

I love the idea of these adorable medals for dogs, but the soft metal these are made with isn't durable. They're already getting badly scratched and dinged on both of my dogs. I'm guessing that within 12 months, you won't be able to see the images at all. For the price, I guess they're OK. They're have to be replaced frequently.

Love the premise of the tag, but question the overall quality. One tag was placed on an older Boxer's collar and the other on a smaller dog's collar. The image was rather shallow on both sides and one quickly became very difficult to recognize after less than one month of normal wear. Both charms were lost when the holes the clips were attached to broke off of both metals during the first month. They did not feel like pewter, but more like a plastic material covered with a silver paint. Very disappointed in the material and craftsmanship.

I bought these in advance as a gift, but put them in a "safe place" and when my friend's birthday rolled around I forgot where I put them. LOL! They look lovely and are as described.I am basing my 5 star review on their looks as I haven't tried them on a dog since they were bought as a gift. When I find them and give them to my fried their might be an update concerning their utility as I saw that some of the reviews said they didn't stay on the collar.

Tag has a nice size but the hanger could be bigger to be easier to pin it in the dog-collar

St Francis is the patron Saint of animals. I received this in excellent shape and put it on my service dog. I had it blessed by my Priest prior to attaching it to her collar. The only think is the small clamp. I remomoved it and used a regular dog tag steel s hook that you mash together with pliars. It works great and I know St. Francis is looking out for my dog now.

The Saint Francis charm arrived quite soon after the order was placed and it is just what I wanted. Tango said it makes him feel loved and special. What more could you ask for?
