Pretty decent, especially for the price.
I ordered the VR headset and remote controller combo. I have to say, the headset is a fairly sturdy piece of equipment, especially for the price. You fit a phone into the front of the device. You'll want to use games that have a VR split-screen style to it, and once you've adjusted the goggles a bit the headset works really well. There's a built in button on the bottom right of the headset that you can press--some games count that as input one way or another. The nicest part of the headset for me is the headphones. They rest on the ears quite well and give a fairly nice quality of sound. It doesn't feel too constricting to wear or anything. Overall, it's a really nice design. Works well for the price, especially! That little remote is something interesting, for sure. It's definitely feels a bit cheap, but it has a lot of uses. I was able to hook it up to both my iPhone and Samsung android tablet. You can use it horizontally like a normal controller, or switch the mode to "key" for vertical control. (The horizontal/vertical aspect is similar to a Wii controller in that way.) There's even a mouse mode for android devices--I was able to get that working over Bluetooth and use the joypad to control the mouse on the screen. Heck, I was just able to connect it to my Windows 10 and use it to control my mouse there! It's worth noting that a game has to have built in support to use a joypad like this one, so obviously not all games will work with it. You'll want to read the instructions they include with the controller for detail on the different functions it has.The remote takes two AAA batteries.Overall, I'm happy with this VR headset and controller. (NOTE: I received mine from the RARO GROUP.)

I like it, comparing to Google Cardboard.
This headset definitely works with my phone, which is Huawei Mate 7 with a resolution of 1080 x 1920. I also bought Google Cardboard to compare and this product is on the same level with the cardboard in terms of image quality, except it is slight dimmer. This headset is also more comfortable and has focal control. When using the cardboard, you have to move the headset away from you to adjust the focus. I was thinking attaching a Velcro strip on the cardboard but it turns out I have to move the cardboard away from my face to see videos well, so I can't really put it on my face. Finally, even with my HD phone, I can still see pixels on both of these headsets. This might be the limitation of VR right now. I wonder if 4k phone will work better.

Hours of fun, try it
I purchased these for my oldest child, yes you guessed it, my husband. He and the grandkids had a ball taking turns riding roller coasters, walking on the moon, and running from dinosaurs. Hours of fun, try it!

Worth every penny
ETVR 3D VR Headset With Remote Controller, Large Viewing Immersive Experience Virtual Reality Glasses with Builted-in Stereo Headphone for VR Games & 3D Movies - Fit for iPhone and Android Smartphones Works very good with iPhone 6 that fits perfect in the ETVR compartment. When setting up the remote with iPhone 6 turn remote ON by holding down the power button on remote until it comes ON then set up the blue tooth on phone. Switch the button on bottom of the remote to "KEY" to control the remote. Only thing is that there isn't a lot of free apps but the ETVR itself is worth every penny. Just didn't work
Can't say I liked this headset. Firstly, the remote that comes with it doesn't work with Google's Daydream app. If you have a Google phone in particular, you won't be able to interact with any VR apps. When you open one up, the first thing that loads is Googles Daydream app asking you to connect your remote. To do so, you need to press the "Home" button, but there are no buttons on the controller that are "Home". I tried all of them. To be clear, you can connect the controller to your phone via Bluetooth, and it'll show you a curser that you can move around, and the buttons let you control sound. However, it won't connect with the Daydream VR app, which is needed to interact with VR apps on Google phones. Not sure if this is the case for all Android phones, but it sure was for my Google Pixel.Secondly, the actual headset itself shows a blurred image. It was blurred for several people I let try. We all tried adjusting the lenses with the controls on the headset, but could never get a crisp image. Very frustrating. Not sure if that's default or if my particular headset had an issue with it.This is the second non-Daydream headset I've tried, and I've faced the same controller issue (although the previous one had a clear image). There's no way in hell I'm paying something like $170 CAD for the Daydream headset though... I'll stickto non-VR content for a while longer.

Almost perfect. It's so hit and miss with these headsets ...
Almost perfect. It's so hit and miss with these headsets to find the perfect one for your phone. I have an Iphone 6s and if this unit would've allowed me to have it further back from the lens exactly 1/4 cm more inside the enclosure, it would be absolutely perfect focus. But it's not unless you add your own little modification shim. Also, no QR code is included inexplicably. The compatible VR code is BOBOVR. This does make a difference. And due to the limitations of how the SDKs are programmed, annoyingly you can't watch anything lying down unless you use an IOS app like MobileVR

Easy to use and comfortable fit!
Bought the headset with the intention of exploring the world through documentaries, have done nothing but play minecraft. The headset is comfortable but does take a little finagling to get the top strap to sit right. For someone like me, who has an awkwardly small head, the built-in headphones can't be adjusted in which means a fair amount of background noise can be heard. It has a removable panel at the front, allowing the phone to use it's camera feature during VR play, which is awesome. I have a much smaller phone than the standard 6 inch and didn't have any concerns about the security of it, once inside the headset. Thanks to the adjustable focus, the smaller screen didn't hinder game play or immersion either. Definitely worth the money! :)

A relatively cheap way to experience VR - good for the price
Google Cardboard is neato, but flawed, so I wouldn't recommend anyone spend too much money on it. More expensive ($40+) Cardboard headsets aren't worth it - you may as well save up for an Oculus Go.This headset, however, is good for the price. The lenses worked to deliver the 3D illusion, there's plenty of adjustability, and the headphones were alright. My one problem with it is that the activate button would randomly not work. It seems to work by making a little mechanical finger tap the screen, perhaps it was getting stuck.
