ATK All Terrain Kart Classic - wooden go kart for kids 5-14 years

Well, I purchased this AT Kart for my 5 year old grandson early in June after coming across it quite by accident and thinking, 'What a brilliant Christmas present that would be for him'. I guess, like others, I was influenced by my own childhood memories and our 'homemade' efforts and the fun a Go-Cart provided. Also, it looked to be a really well-made product and it looks brilliant!anyway, I bought one but having nowhere to hide it from my grandson till Christmas, I left it in its box and put it in the shed!However, yesterday 6th September, with my grandson out of the way back at school I opened the box.Well, all I can say at this point, is that it is made of quality materials and I know he will love it when it is finally put together and we go on a test drive down the local, very quiet country lanes.For now, it is back in its box and whilst the instructions look very straightforward I intend to get a mechanically minded mate to help me put it together.So, this review, at this point, is more about the quality of the ATK Company which was brilliant in responding to all my queries prior to purchase and was very accommodating re delivery and all in all inspired confidence in the company and its products.So, if you're looking for a present which may be familiar to you but excitingly different to a child then I reckon an AT Kart might just fit the bill. I look forward to seeing my grandson opening this present on Christmas Day and then I aim to complete this review. Watch this space!

Great kart, looks good and does what it's supposed to - nothing to go wrong with it really. We had one part missing, and stupidly we didn't check everything was included before we started to assemble. Missing part was received after a week, which seems like a lifetime when you're 12 waiting for it to arrive. All good now though.

Well made and easy to put together. Classic old school go kart which our 8 year old thinks is "epic"! The best birthday present ever! Great fun in the outdoors. Fast delivery and excellent after sales service if you have any queries. Buy with confidence. Don't think about it .....get one! It has that grin factor that every child should experience.

Captures the imagination for old style toys

Bought for my 8 year old daughters 8th birthday. Fantastic and very sturdy go kart. Adjustable setting for beginner and more advanced steering. My 10 year old loves playing on it too, they can get a good speed up!

Great go cart. Packaging very poor. Nuts and bolts falling out. Fortunately only one nut missing. Easy to assemble.

"Awesome" was shouted as my 7 year old flew down the hill. One delighted kid at Christmas. A great piece of kit,well made and sturdy. easy and quick to put together. We initially had a part issue but this was sorted quickly (by email on Boxing Day-very impressed) and a new one on our door step on the Monday. Excellent and efficient customer care. Thank you

Highly recommend. Great product. No child should miss out on riding (and building) a go-cart. And fantastic customer service.
