These are lovely curling tongs to use. They come in a very smart box and would make a lovely present.The cord is long enough to give you plenty of room to move, so you don't feel tethered to the plug socket.They heat up really quickly and seemed to be ready to use in no time at all. This does mean that they also take a while to cool down, if you hold your hand over them you can feel the heat coming off and they don't come with a heat resistant pad to stand them on. I wouldn't want to rely on just standing them on the incorporated safety stand to cool down, I really think you need a proper heat resistant pad.The medium 26 mm barrel apparently contains patented "tri zone" technology that gives you the optimum temperature delivered constantly and evenly along the tongs. However, I found that the curls produced did have a very slight kink in them. Either side of the barrel is a thin metal strip and I found that on this area of the barrel I got a slight almost imperceptible kink (indicative of a cooler area on the barrel). None of the other reviews mention this so it could be that the pair of tongs I have don't work quite as they should. It isn't something I noticed on my own hair, but did notice when I used them on my niece's hair, maybe because I was concentrating and being super careful. (I'd also add that my niece's hair is quite thick, and mine is fine).Overall - they look good, feel great when you're using them and they heat up quickly - so super if you're often short of time when you're getting ready. But they are expensive, you'd probably get results that are similar from a cheaper pair of tongs, no heat proof mat and I did have some issues with slight unevenness in the curls.

I have never used GHD products before but was told how good they are, so here i am telling YOU how GREAT they are!! i have used curling tongs a lot in my life and i thought these would be the same, but they aren't. they heat up quickly and feel great no tugging like some they are smooth. they gave me a great curl too a medium one which i love, and it lasted all day, i would defo recomend these to everyone.

not impressed I have to get a plug adapter my wife was unable to use her present on Christmas day.

immediatamente restituito poiché non manteneva la piega e il boccolo era pessimo. sconsiglioperò se state cercando qualcosa di meglio posso consigliare di spendere 20 euro in più e prendere questo GHD Arricciacapelli Curve® Creative Curl Wand lui è un prodotto eccellente

Hab den Fön auch von ghd, daher wollte ich auch den Lockenstab. Bin aber nicht klar gekommen, da kein Haken zum Eindrehen der Haare, ansonsten sehr schönes Gerät.
