Loose thread, Unraveled hem right out of sealed package
A bit disappointed to be honest.. I am a preschool/ home montessori teacher, and have been eyeing Sarah's silks for quite a while, but haven't been able to make a big investment until recently selling off all of our kids non-open ended toys to purchase some better options. I was so excited to finally try these out! I was planning on purchasing 2 sets of "seconds" to save a little, and get the best variety, but thought I would invest in one "good" one first, just to be sure the materials were what I was hoping for. I'm sad to say I will not be purchasing anymore, as this play silk came with a unraveled hem, and loose thread (basically what I would have expected as a "second") maybe this isn't a normal thing to happen, but was very disappointing.

Other than that they are pretty much equal
I hand dyed play silks for my daughter, but I wanted to see how a Sarah’s Silk would match up. (After hearing sooo much about them) This silk is shinier, but mine are softer. Other than that they are pretty much equal. The hand dyed silks cost less and it was a lot of fun to dye them. There are some things that Sarah’s silks make that I can not and I will definitely be buying them from this company, just not anymore of these silks

Perfect for growing beautiful minds
Bought this for my now 22 month old daughter about 3 months ago, since I found she loved playing with my fake silk dresses. She plays with this so much more than I thought she would, especially considering her age!!!! I have seen her develop so much sensory and imaginative skill when she uses this!!! She learned to use it as a cape, blanket for her dolls, rubs it over her face, wears it as a veil, she lays it on the ground and rolls on it, even sleeps with it!!! It's the perfect size for her, it's so lightweight it just floats above her so magically when I toss it over her. Color was exact, and is very snag resistant! LOVE this and hope to purchase more for her!!!!!

... this to our one month old and he has loved it ever since
We gave this to our one month old and he has loved it ever since. I've never seen a baby take to anything like this before. It quiets him so quickly. My older ones love to use it for imaginative play when the baby isn't using it. Only negative thing is that it had a hole in it a month after we got it. It tears pretty easily. I'm not interested in paying $15 for a product that keeps ripping within a few months of playing with. At least we know it's loved on!

Beautiful playsilks! The colors were exactly as I had expected. Since playsilks in general are a bit pricey, for my 9-month-old daughter I've decided to get her a couple here and there. By the time she's a preschooler she should have a decent collection. By no means does that mean the ones we've bought her don't get put to use now! Aside from my 7-year-old snatching them to use as dress-up, my baby LOVES to play peek-a-boo with these. They're slightly sheer so when underneath she can somewhat see me. I toss it into the air above her and it looks heavenly as it slowly drifts down. I can tie a knot in it and she loves to chew on it. She just loves to feel them and I wouldn't be surprised if one of them turned into her lovie!

Perfect for Easter basket! No grass for us.
This scarf is so perfect for my granddaughters Easter basket this year. I know she will get hours of use as she does with all her Sarah’s Silks.

decent toy for imagination play
its not as "silky" as i expect from a product with silk in the name haha my kids do enjoy it so i guess thats what matters but for the price i expected some sort of magical toy and this is not really that. the texture is kind of weird honestly. but when my kids do decide to play with it it gets a hard playing with and it does hold up well. my son enjoys it as a cape and has me tie it in knots and it hasn't torn but it does have several snags.

Lovely play silks
These are lovely play silks! We continue to buy them (in other colors) because we enjoy them so much. They are very sheer and thin, but they are silk so I expected that. My kids enjoy how light they are so they can flow through the air so nicely as capes, parachutes, etc.

Heads up.
Be advised, these prices are for ONE playsilk, not a BASKET as in the photo. $40 for one silk is crazy. I had to chase down my refund as well...
