Laser 4385 Multi Purpose Mini Pump

Bought this for topping up transmissions. Works very well it has a double action pump so is very easy to top up or refill a gearbox only downside is that it only holds 1 L of fluid. Divisions are set to 100 ml.

I purchased this item to do the Gearbox Oil and Differential Fluid on my E46 M3, I ended up no requiring it for the Differential as there is plenty of access there to poor the bottles into the fill hole.I used this for the gearbox oil solely as access is completely limited.The Build quality is second to none, it takes solid pumping action which to be honest didnt feel like much of an effort, the spout catch hangs into the fill hole with no need for securing it with for instance a cable tie. I filled the gearbox is about 5-10 minutes with this.For those that felt it was difficult, realistically you should be warming your oil before working with it, Depending on the viscousity or application it can be less fluid than you like. My method is to pour hot water into a basin and leave the oil bottles (fully capped) sitting in the basin in prep for the job for about 30 minutes topping with hot water everynow and then. Makes life a whole lot easier.

Not the highest of quality, but great value and saved me loads when doing a rear diff oil change

Bought this to assist in a gearbox oil change on a BMW e46 6 speed. The filler is high up in the tunnel with very little clearance. The metal bend at the top of the pump’s filler tube just fitted up there and in the hole and the pump emptied the litre container in 30 seconds or so. Very impressed.

It has always been difficult to fill the gearbox on my 110 land rover. This allowed me to measure the oil and fill the gear ox with the correct amount with no spillage. Well worth the money.

Brilliant hand pump being able to access an awkward transfer box filler entry-point level plug hole whilst pumping 75W-90 gear oil into this box. Your pressure by hand force can make oil splash back as it hits the gear cog, so there is need to reduce the amount of pressure. Able to wash the pump out with soapy water to use for further applications. Did the job I bought it for.

I purchased the product to change the gearbox and diff oil in my wife's MX-5. I had no trouble pumping 75W-90 Oil at room temperature and I particularly liked the fact that I could fit the pump directly onto 1l oil bottles, no need to transfer the oil into the bottle that came with the pump.A bit pricey for what it is.

Finally got round to changing the oil in my jeeps diff and used this to fill it. Had to fill it 1.5 times but had no issues pumping it into the diff. Pumped easier than I expected after reading some of the reviews. Nice and easy and no mess. Ideal!
