Bargain
Very cheap, arrived the next day and exactly as described, no complaints. I've added Demo tags to them as they are the exact width for it for clear labelling for my indoor seedlings in a propagator (see pic).If you need cheap plant labels look no further, highly recommended.

Cheap, but a bit too smooth ...
These are cheap enough, but the don't have a "rough side" to write on. One side is too smooth to write on at all, the other is only just rough enough to take a pencil. It probably costs more to manufacture with a textured side, but if I could find some for say 50p/100 more then I would buy them instead.

WOW - 100 for £2.45
The media could not be loaded. I read some bad reviews about these labels but I really and truly cannot understand why they were written. I would happily pay more for these. They were bigger than expected (I should have got my ruler out :)), sturdy and easy to write on - if you use a soft pencil. I use a 4B but I also tried a 2B without problems.

UNUSABLE WITH PENCIL
It's like trying to write on glass and it wont work with a pencil. I've had to buy a special marker to see if that works. - extra trouble and expense and still don't know if I can use themNot really suitable for the purpose for which they are sold when you consider that most people use the traditional pencil for writing plant labels.I have changed this to two stars from one as the labels do accept my specially purchased ink marker pens. Some people have said that they were able to use pencils but the only way I could get a pencil to work was by using fine sand paper to roughen the surface of the label first but even then the writing was easily rubbed off by touch leaving it unreadable.

Good Price
But very difficult to write on. The surface is too smooth and not coarse enough for pencil to stick. I like to write on labels with a pencil as in the past I have found that all pens including sharpies wash off after a while with the weather. I tried a few different pencils including HB but they all struggled to make a mark. Oddly enough the only pencil that worked was a Screwfix one but even then I have to press really hard and go back and forth rewriting over what I've written to make it eligible

Great & Reusable.
I purchased wooden lollipop sticks in the autumn to use as tags, but of course they have started to rot. I didn’t want to purchase plastic tags, but it seemed to be the better option in the long run and I’m glad I did. They are robust, sturdy and you can write much better on them than the wood. As I grow the same things every year I plan to re use these. However, if you use a sharpie/permanent marker you’ll be able to spray hair spray or nail varnish remover on the tags and wipe the marker off, just rinse in water then to remove the chemicals. Really good option if you are trying to reduce your plastic use.

Just can't get pencil or marker to stick to label
Premier Seeds 5 stars brilliant but not these labels. Might have a bad batch. Bought 100 9th May 2021 for seeming bargain £2.45. But for 2nd year of use have found any pencil or marker I've used just comes off after a while with watering. Obviously prefer pencil + re-use but even permanent marker won't stay. Pity, it's a total contrast to anything I've bought from PSeeds who still get a total thumbs up from me. Might rough the labels up with sand paper, only just had the thought.

Useful labels
Bought for my husband who is using them to label up items in our stock cupboard and fridge, he is blind and uses a device where he can record on a label what the item is. They can stick to these sticks and be used time and again. Very useful for all sorts of labelling.Very good price.
