ARMAFBlack Onyx Niche Eau De Toilette, 90ml

After having an earlier order from somewhere else was cancelled due to being out of stock I was delighted to find it available on Amazon and actually at a better price!The fragrance itself is great with good performance and longevity, by wife complimented me on it straight away which is quite something given I have over 200 fragrances of which she's only ever complimented me on a handful.My Fragrantica rating of this fragrance took the rating, as if the time of this review, from 3.9 to 4 (out of 5) which pleased me as I feel this is well deserving of a 4+ rating.

Strange fragrance, too spice and too oriental. Longevity about 6 hours and projection about 2 hours. I wear in combination with other perfumes and the result is quite nice.

I wear this one rather often. It's hard to compare it to another fragrance or break down the notes other than to relist the notes that are printed on Armaf's website. Perhaps the dominant note is cardamon but I probably haven't smelled cardamon by itself so I can't be sure. I'll say this one smells faintly sweet, citrusy, musky, spicy, fresh and formal all at the same time. And, I DO wear this one rather often since I received it. It caused me to purchase the Niche Oud too, which I should have by next week.My only complaint is the bottle. The base where the cap pushes into feels flimsy and the cap never feels solidly shut on the bottle. This is not a big deal, really, but I was expecting more from Armaf's Niche line.

The product is 100% original but it smells like Baba Elaichi. From the begining till the end it smells only like Baba Elaichi. Definately not worth spending your money on. I threw it in garbage on the day of its arrival, after testing it for 6-7 hours. It smells exactly like cardamom flavoured essesnce which is used to make sweets during festive season.I am not blaming the seller. The seller is genuine but there is absolutely nothing in this perfume which could make it 'niche'.
