Tetra Betta Fish Food, Complete Fish Food Biologically Balanced for All Bettas, 100 ml

I’m sure you know what picky eaters Bettas can be. They’ll turn their noses up at plenty of food so when you find something they like you stick with it. Well, the food that I’ve been feeding my Sorority tank was getting low so I was deeply miffed when I found that no one sold it anymore. While I feed my three males that live in a Betta Trio tank where I can basically hand feed them the correct quantity of food, I have a dozen females that live in “general population”, my 200 litre tank that has all manner of inhabitants. Red tailed shark, torpedo barbs, glass cats, tetras, a legion of bristlenose plecs and kribs all happily mingling together, and each has their own feeding requirement. The female Bettas like flaked food and running out of options I tried the Tetra Betta food with fingers crossed that they’d like it.To be honest, I don’t think they’ve noticed I’ve changed their food. They all still queue up at the front of the glass at feeding time and munch away more than happy. And if they’re happy then so am I.

Aquatics Discount deserves praise for getting the Tetra Betta food to me in so little time despite our civil servants (Postal) best efforts to delay delivering goods. The food is well received by the Betta, Cardinal Tetras and Harlequins.

My betta loves them, but if you only have one fish and a small tank, then these are really easy to overfeed with. I used so little that I'm sure the flakes would go out of date before I got a quarter through the container. Plus they make a floaty mess in the tank if you put too much in (not that it ever stopped my fish from gorging itself over the day).I liked the product, it might just be better to use if you have other things in the tank (snails or something) or a couple of tanks to feed.

Floats well on the surface of the water providing plenty of feeding time, great value tub so will last awhile before having to rebuy, has everything you need for an everyday betta fish food providing you still offer live foods or alternatives to cover all your betta fish needs.

Bought because my fighter fish was losing colour, extra protein seems to have done the job and he’s now back in prime condition

Really happy with this product my black crown tailed betta lost his colour in his tail and body, changed her food to this and 3days later he is shimmering blue silver and greens all threw his tail and bottom half of her body again. So happy he really likes this food and is so much more active and seems healthier.

This product is very good value for money and the thickness is great, my betta fish is a very fussy eater but he loves this product and all my other fish love it too (GREAT PRODUCT).

I don’t know what happened other than my Betta was not happy with this food. Honestly thought I’d lost him. Quickly switched back to his usual (but higher priced) food and he’s now much better. On this food he was floating sideways / upside down and generally not moving much. I didn’t feed him for a few days, then reverted back to a new packet of the old food and he’s back to normal. Can’t pinpoint it on this food but it’s the only thing that changed….
