Great Tripod, the only problem is me!
Its a great, small little tripod. Easy to whip out and tuck away again. But I didn't do my research and bought the small one instead of the taller version of this tripod. An important lesson in not shopping on price alone. I might contact the seller to ask for an exchange, but I might just keep it because of its size it does fit my camera bag almost perfectly. And I'm not the kind of person to trouble another person for my negligence.

Klein, leicht, immer dabei
Toll.

The ZipShot mini is great in that it is very light
I am a solo traveler and I wanted something that can break down small so that it can fit into my travel bag. I saw this and gave it a try.The ZipShot mini is great in that it is very light, quick to use, and build is pretty decent. It is pretty lightweight. I personally wouldn't use a DSLR on this. However, the trick is to spread the legs wide to create a little tension. While it flex a little, I felt it was solid and could hold a little weight.I love how quick it sets up. Let it go and it connects itself. The head also feels solid and I think it is built well overall.Only issue is that it's short. 28 inches is like slightly above my knees. Too short if I want to grab a quick selfie. If you don't mind it being short it works but I was pretty disappoint in the height. Apparently they do make a taller size but it's discontinued. So I turn back to Amazon and saw an imitation of the big one. So I bought it. While it had the same functionality, build quality was worst. It was also taller while broken down and didn't fully fit in my bag.So then I got the idea of buying a second Tamrac ZipShot mini, took the legs apart and combine the two ZipShot minis. There was enough slack for me to fit two sections to the one mini. It worked perfectly. The height is now taller, though a tad shorter but I am able to work with it. Broken down, it's still short but now thicker. It still fits in my bag which is the important thing.Overall, my newly combined ZipShot is now my go-to travel tripod. I wished I didn't buy the knock off one.
