Nugget Ice Maker Countertop, 55lbs High Output, 13lbs Large Storage, 7-Min Fast Sonic Ice, 2 Water-Fill Option, Self-Cleaning Pellet Pebble Ice Machine for Home, Office, and Commercial Use

After being in the refrigeration business for 40 years, when I saw the price on this machine I figured it was too good to be true, and I was right. The problem is no “sweeper” arm on the ice plate. Commercial IMs have a rotating arm that pushes the ice off the extruded plate, this one doesn’t. When the bin gets full this one shuts off with ice still sitting on the plate if it sits in the off mode for an extended period, like over night, when it tries to start producing ice again the ice left from the previous cycle has frozen hard into the holes of the extruder plate and the auger can’t push new ice through the holes. The machine will begin groan and growl then start popping. Lovely sounds at 3am!! I’ve tried everything to “get along” with this machine because it does produce a large amount or ice fast. However there just wasn’t anything that would keep it cycling on/off as the bin filled and then we used ice which prevented the freeze ups. Maybe if they update in the future but for now mine will is going back!!!

Yes this makes the awesome ice you buy at sonic!!! We are a family of 5 in Arizona and this machine produces ALOT of ice!! It keeps up seamlessly with the constant use and filling large water jugs for 2 baseball players daily. Its very easy to operate and clean, plug it in and it does its thing. We have had a couple other brands that couldn't keep up with our needs for ice but this one does the job. We can't stand sodas or drinks with the big ice from fridge ice makers now, WE LOVE IT!!!!!

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased this item as a brand new icemaker. It came with broken pieces scuffs cracks scratches and water residue already inside it. Worst part is even overlooking all of that as just a functioning product. It did not make a single cube of ice or nugget. Great purchase if you enjoy long refunding processes and excuses!

Concept is good, but has some flaws. Out of the gate, there were two broken pieces of plastic inside the Ice Machine when I received it (See photos). These appeared to be from two broken spots on the top sides of the ice machine door. The door does not close properly, except when weighted down with ice. I'm guessing these two broke pieces have something to do with that. I also understand it's not meant to store ice, but if you expect people to get ice out of the machine for use, it leaks water at the bottom of the door when opened.

If I could leave less than one star, I would! Save yourself from throwing money in the trash and purchase another brand. After less than a year the machine has completely stopped working and the manufacturer states there is a six month warranty only, but refuses to provide me with a copy of that warranty. Save yourself the hassle and frustration.

Product was misrepresented. It doesn’t store ice??!! For a commercial product and the capacity and PRICE, I would think it would actually keep the ice. The seller did not have anything about this listed. I gave this to my wife as her main Christmas gift — we didn’t even get it plugged in…NOT after reading the instruction booklet, take ice out.I tried to return it, explaining my issue w the product- the seller wrote back, what is broken-evidently not even reading my text. The seller was evasive, didn’t want me to return.And obviously not confident w their own product; If wanted to return it, I would have to on my OWN DIMEI DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SELLER AT ALL! Amazon assisted with my issues with the seller. I highly recommend Amazon!
