Windproof and Waterproof - Check
I ordered this product as a result of losing my old softshell jacket made by a familiar name. Most reviews advised that this product was windproof, waterproof and generally warm to wear.I can clarify that the products windproof feature is absolutely amazing. It's as good as my Ski coat. It stops any breeze from getting past the outer shell.I have only been caught in showers and light downpours but it has kept me perfectly dry.The inside has a thin fleece material which keeps me surprisingly warm. I think this is a combination of the fact that no wind will ever get past the outer shell of the coat and so the fleece just keeps you warm.I think the garment looks smart, it's well made and the hood is peaked which makes it very useful. If there's one thing I don't like about the coat is the pocket situation. There are lots of pockets, which is great, but the main pockets ride up the front of the coat, not at the sides which means that I often go to put my hands in my pockets, only to realise that there aren't any pockets to put my hands. There's also a pocket on the back of the coat which seems incredibly pointless. I can't really think of any reason behind why this pocket exists, but it does.Other than that though it's a great product. It's light, the UK size is perfect, it's weatherproof, it looks good, it's easy to compact it to fit in to a rucksack. Perfect for walks, hikes and colder temperatures.

Versatile jacket!
I've been wearing this for over a year now. I'm quite pleased with the jacket. The colour and style are nice, and the material is quite comfy. I've been wearing this in NE Scotland and not one single drop of water got through. It's also windproof, which makes it perfect for those cold winter days when I have to walk to work at 5am.The size is a bit big but I don't mind extra room for sweaters or even smaller jackets. This jacket, even if it's really nice as a waterproof cover, it lacks any kind of thermal insulation. If I wear it in the spring/autumn, I get too warm in it and start sweating. It's not breathable unless you open the underarm zips (which can make it cold very fast or it can let water in). If I wear it on very cold days, it won't help at all to keep me warm, so I need to wear a thick fleece under it.What I really love about the jacket is it's practical versatility: from the fact that you can store your hoodie away by rolling it into the collar, to the multitude of pockets that you can store anything in (and I mean anything!), to the fact that it can be rolled into a burrito and fit your luggage quite easily.Overall, a great purchase. Only next time I'll order 2 sizes smaller, as it's Asian fit.

A good one
Very good, fit for purpose. Keeps out the elements well enough. Could be thicker tho

Surprisingly good fit and quality.
***EDIT***Used for 4 hours recently in constant light to medium downpour and kept me dry and warm, I was careful not to disturb the rain on the garment as it was forming droplets and didnt want to try bridging the surface, but it did occassionally and there was no noticeable ingress.Impressed....yet to see what a torrential downpour will result in.Bought an XXL but received an XL so was worried it might be too tight, as I am 48inch chest but quite broad shoulders and sleeve lengths are always shortish, but worries are over, its a good fit everywhere. Its very warm inside and thinly lined which should keep the moisture down some but its the build quality which I am happy with, seams and hems are all securely stitched and all pockets are zipped. Their lining is thin so dont be putting heavy objects in them, and the arm pockets are a little small for general use but I'm using it for orienteering so wont want extra weight anyway and the jacket is light which helps too.The hood design is clever, all round ability to adjust a tighter fit against the elements but haven't had a chance to test for weatherproofing yet, its quite spacious and allows me to wear a quite large woolly balaclava inside as well which is a plus. The length is good, it reaches well down past the small of the back and has a cord to tighten it up.Overall, I'm pleased, but would have preferred a couple of arm pockets less and a large, decent inside pocket instead, somewhere to keep my mobile phone and glasses away from the elements. The hand pockets are prone to bumping against things in normal movement, esp outside in a forest, but there is enough room to wear a bumbag underneath so its no prob, just a slight nuisance.

Lots of pockets - Great for outdoors
I was out with the dog the second day I got this coat. Unexpectedly the heavens opened locally with torrential rain and high winds. I zipped up fully, put the hood on and I arrived home completely dry. The pockets, of which there are many, contained paper money, my mobile phone, keys, torch, some important papers, vape pen, and other stuff I carry with me. All were bone dry on getting home. It's light to handle, the zips on the pockets seem to lock when zipped up, no chance of them slipping down. I am very happy with this purchase and being disabled with a mobility scooter, I felt confident and protected. My only disappointment was that the pants I wore were jogging bottoms and they were absolutely drenched. The difference between the coat and the pants was stark, and only served to make me appreciate the coat even more.
