Pretty much flavorless, but useful on days where I have trouble fitting in adequate nutrition.

Got them after i found out they were a real thing and there really good there high calorie for there size but they come with two packets of two bars in each box so you can have half for later if youd like.

I Decided to finally bite the bullet and bite into one of these instead. being a fan of the MGS titles, but hesitant due to the price.IMO a bit expensive BUT considering its an import product, understandable.It's a small but dense little breadstick Just a little dry and Enough of a taste of chocolate to not taste like hardtak or a plain biscuit. Kinda soft too.I one dry and one warmed. The warmed stick was placed on the edge of my Coffee mug while i was waiting for it to cool enough to drink. While Warm it really brings out the Chocolate more and the stick softens greatly. Was very good. Will treat myself to more occasionally.

Bought this on a whim after playing through MGS3 again and read the reviews after -- came to expect a dry experience with no flavor whatsoever.Very much proven wrong. You get two bars about the size 1x0.5x3'ish inches in dimension per packet, two packets per box (and this one comes with two boxes). First bite I was bracing for a dry, subpar wafer, but it had a surprising bit of moisture to it. Mind you, I still found myself getting some water to go with it, but it's not a dry brick like I expected.The flavor was there too. It is as some other reviews described: "muted". Not absent, but not entirely present. The first bite, it doesn't pop out at you, but after chewing on it some, it releases that pleasant sort of aftertaste of chocolate. It's a good chocolate taste, I'm not exactly a wordsmith but I found it tasty enough to finish a packet.For those who are unsure how many nutrients are in each bar, each box contains 400 calories and the listed nutrients, but it's spread out to all four bars. I'm hoping to use this in lieu of some meals to reduce my calorie intake, since it's very easy to track this way (and it's moderately filling to boot). Will buy again.

We always keep a variety of breakfast / protein bars around the house. We all tend to get busy, sometimes we have to skip breakfast or lunch (or just get hungry). Most of the bars are chocolate coated, or yogurt, or just made with sweet things to stick them together. Often it's too much for me.These have flavor, but it's not in your face strong. They are a touch sweet, but they don't taste like a dessert. They are a bit crumbly, but not like a granola bar that gets everywhere. I think it's the best combination of taste/sweetness/texture/size that I've tried so far.

Perfect for balancing out meals in the jungle.These bars keep me full and also taste great. The chocolate flavor is mild, but pleasant. The bars are dry, but not so dry that it’s crunchy. It’s a good consistency that goes well with some water. I plan to bring this to work as a lunch time snack.

its good to tuck on the go, but watch the sugar and calories-1 bar ( half a package is a serving) its almost like a cookie but the taste is actually better then one. for the value it is something i will again buy and share with others.

Doesn't really taste chocolatey, but it's not a bad taste. Have a glass of water nearby, because they're very dry.
