I purchased theses for my wife as she complains of having cold legs in this cold snap, best thing I could have done massive brownie points she loves them.

At first these socks looked perfect and although they were lovely and comfortable had a habit of steadily slipping off the knee, which meant I had to keep pulling them up again. They are well made and the material really soft to the skin.

I thought the picture shows it is thin. So I was hoping to use it when it isn’t too cold. The material is thick and good for winter season.

Colour is darker than pictured, they don't hold up, the knit is loose, they came in 17 tons of plastic. I hate them. The seam on the toe is enormous and hard, the top elastic is visible when on. The heal is the wrong shape it is 2 centimetres long so pokes out the back of shoes and looks revolting. £8.99 you'd expect something okay, not fabulous. Even pep &co wouldn't sell these for a quid. They are the worst socks I've ever had. I hate them. They are itchy, they full down after taking a couple of steps, the pattern isn't even knitted straight. These would be a great gift for someone you didn't like and wanted to irritate. Did I mention I hate them. I'd give zero stars if I could. These are a great gift for wicked witch mother in laws. Awful. Rubbish. The person that designed them deserves hung, drawn and quartered.

These are really nice for when you're cold, and the pattern itself is very pretty. Comes well-presented in nice (but generic) zip-loc packaging, which some might see as an issue considering the waste. Not super thick, but still enough to keep your legs warmed in a cold house. Haven't really worn them outside (this review was written in 2020, I've yet to confirm if there actually is still an "outside") so I can't speak to how they hold up.Speaking of holding up, if you have thick thighs they *will* retreat down if you walk with them, looking more like over-the-knee socks than thigh highs, which is fine for me as finding long enough OTK socks is also super difficult, but be warned.

I CAN'T STAND the seam at the top of the socks! I always have this problem with long socks, the hem at the top is knitted in such a way that it stretches less than the rest of the sock, and then I get a weird squished sausage type of look on my legs! I have a way to fix it myself but it always happens. I'm very tall and rather chunky so these socks need to STREEEETCH! Very good so far though, except for the hem at the top!

Really nice socks. Good purchase.Buuuuuut i'm 5'11" tall and these socks could do with being a little longer.They reach about 4" past my knee but a lot of that is stretch so they tend to go back down to just over the knee.

I do really like these socks, but they seem quite tight on my thighs and I have fairly skinny legs. They also slide down a lot, I had to pull them up every 2 mins while walking. They are very long, I’m 5ft7 with long legs and if my thighs didn’t look like an over stuffed sausage I’d have been able to wear them quite high.
