Very glossy, beautiful pictures and an excellent commentary and insights into The London contemporary fashion scene. Best suited to younger readers not middle aged tweed lovers like me but I would recommend this book to fashion students and purveyors of high end street fashion

The book is very informative and gives a good balance between the fashion and street photography.I’m not sure if the subjects are posed or simply spotted. It gave me some ideas for looking out for likely subjects with my Leica. I’d say that a lot of the shots were taken with a fixed focal length lens, 50mm on 35mm film or full frame digital (35mm for smaller sensors) and 75-80mm on 6 X 6 medium format, e.g. Rolleiflex and Rolleicord etc. I’ve not seen the obvious distortions from using a wider angle lens or a telephoto one (compression of perspective).

I wanted it to give information and details on clothing so I knew what occasion they were for but it didn’t have that. However, if you’re looking for photography, designs from companies, and rich people’s outfit choice, you can find some here.

Sinceramente, aunque la bibliografía del mundo sartorial no es demasiado extensa, este libro está de más.No presenta nada nuevo, y por ese precio puedes encontrar otros libros que si valen la pena.

Tolles Buch, sehr guter Ratgeber. Musst Have für Männer, zumindest aus meiner Sicht. Gute Tips und Anregungen über Test und Bilder, um sich entsprechend einzukleiden oder Akzente zu setzen. Der klassische London Style aus Bond Street und ähnlich wird hier noch etwas verfeinert und modischer
