Value for money this jacket is perfect for the cool spring and mild summer weather. The jacket is best worn above 60F with a short sleave under neath and below 85F. The jacket vents a lot of air flow when you are moving which is very nice in mild summer weather. However, if it is cold out and you have a short sleave under it gets very chilly when moving. I am 5'9 in height, weighing in at 160lbs. The small size fits me perfectly.This jacket comes with CE level 2 Armor in the shoulders, elbows, and back. For the money this is a great value. Most jackets around have some armor pieces but is missing a back protector. This Shima Jacket has all of them. The Armor is very tight in pockets so be careful when putting them in and taking it out.I do wish for some better pockets internally but that might be solved with their inner layer. The jacket also comes with a water "resistant" pocket where I use to hold my phone and other items. Overall this has become my new favorite jacket because of the price, functions, and look.

6’2” 185lbs ad large fits well. I can fit another jacket underneath too (this jacket isn’t super warm, which is good so that I can layer underneath)I’ve been riding in it every day for a few weeks now and I love it. Luckily I haven’t crash tested it, so I can’t say how the abrasion resistance works or anything like that, but it seems to be great quality and well thought out design. The “buttons” are magnetic which is great, and there are two separate zippers, one to use as a vent and the other for colder weatherIt has loops on the inside that seem like they’re meant for some sort of lining, but I don’t see any sort of lining offered by shima.Because of this jacket I also bought riding shoes from them that also seem like great quality for price. Big shima fan so farFeels great, looks great

I've heard of some of these amazon riding gear being low on quality and durability bit this brand seems really well manufactured. Tight seems and durable feeling material. The included back pad is great and I can use with one of my store bought, over priced, jackets. I'm 5'10 and 195lbs dad bod and the x-large was a little big. If I wear hoody underneath it's perfect. A little warm for So Cal spring daytime weather but great for the cool nights. Ordered a Shima day jacket I was impressed with the brand so much. Went with 4 stars because the zipper has come off track(?) a few times. Just have to be sure to take time and care zipping it up.

I rarely buy clothes online because they never seem to fit right, but this thing fits great. I’m 6ft tall, 165lbs, athletic build. I typically wear small Tshirts and tops. Per the other reviews I went a size up to medium and it fits so well. I can wear it with just a T-shirt and it fits great, doesn’t look baggy, but then I can also layer a fleece under it and it still fits great, probably because of the tailored fit. (Follows the contours of my torso whether I have a layer underneath or not. (If you have a gut or are thicker and muscular, you might want to go two sizes up IF you’re planning to layer underneath it, otherwise, one size up for heavier folks with just a shirt underneath should work fine.). The shoulders articulate really well so the sleeves don’t get bunched up even when I have a fleece underneath and I’m reaching for the bars. Nice features throughout. The only thing I would change is adding some side pockets to quickly throw your keys and phone it when you’re off the bike.

It’s a nice jacket, dual zipper option to decide from depending on weather. Runs small though. I recommend 1 or 2 sizes bigger.

I got this jacket for my son. (For reference he is wearing a size medium jacket. He is 6ft and 170lbs he also has a backpack on in the image)The jacket is awesome. It looks like a normal flannel, but it's so much more. My son states that it is "perfect for fall" it keeps him warm but doesnt make him swear. Its super breathableMaterial. When he moves his arms forward there is extra an extra fold in the shoulders that makes arm movement easy. There is protective padding in the jacket on the back, shoulders and elbows. I am an ER nurse and a mother of a 21 year old motorcycle rider. This jacket is mom and nurse approved.Jacket wount stop a broken bone, but the road rash will not happen and, when combined with a helmet, this jacket could potentially go a long way in saving a life (and skin!!!!)

I put a lot of miles on the bike each week driving back and forth to work on the interstate and backroads. I have an old jacket from about 10 years ago that I have been wearing but I wanted to get something a little better. I saw this one and was a little skeptical. It didn’t really say much about the CE certification, and the armor is a different name than regular Kevlar but once I got it, it has the CE tag inside labeling it as such. 👍I like the look of it and it fits well. I wear my flannel shirt underneath it and since I live in the PNW I wear my rain jacket over it just fine.Overall I am pleased with the purchase.*for size reference: I am 6 ft tall, 180 lbs, and in great shape. The large fits me well.

This riding jacket was almost perfect for me. It was quite comfortable and form fitting. It does get a bit hot if you are not moving that much, but at higher speeds it is rather cool with the zippers open. I also love it for the flannel style it has as that is mostly what I wear day to day. I also have to comment on how it kept me completely dry while it was raining during my MSF course. The only downside I’d list is the back armor feels a bit weird at times but doesn’t bother me much and it is removable.

Una camisa muy similar a la descripción, salvo por el color que es algo más verdoso o aguamarina que en la foto (me ha gustado más al verla). Viene con protección de espalda, hombros y codos.No me esperaba el peso, algo más de 2Kg aproximadamente, pero es normal con la protecciones.Esperaba una prenda con la que pasaría frío, pero para nada. Abriga bastante, sintiendo que no necesito llevar chaqueta, ya que el tejido es bastante grueso por las capas de tela y kevlar.Tanto en el interior como en el exterior cuenta con bolsillos, además de una cremallera doble en el centro y broches a dos regulaciones en puños (que también tienen cremallera)

Fits well (I bought a size larger than usual), feels very safe and looks great. An awesome alternative to black jackets!
