I like the size of these tongs a lot for use at home. They'd be too small to take camping, but for setting or moving logs in the fireplace, they are perfect. There is not a lot of heft to them, but enough sturdiness that they don't wobble. They grasp the logs firmly and nicely, and don't take up a bunch of room. I highly recommend them for use in your home.

The tongs are sturdy and work as advertised. HOWEVER, they are short! Of course I wanted short so they were more manageable when moving and placing logs. Don't even think of using these with a wood stove insert without also buying a pair of welding gloves. I have saved you some hand hair! You're welcome!
