I found that these cute sponges work just as well as a basic sponge combo you buy at the grocery store. I am still using my first one and it has been 2 months. The tail of the whale is a bonus because I can hook it around the handle of my compost bucket that I keep in my side sink. You may be able to hook it on counter soap dispenser too.

Holds water, cleans well and is so cute if you like whales.

I’m trying to keep a more natural sustainable home so these are perfect & wash my dishes amazingly and last about 1-2 months !! i only wash by hand so they get used quite often ! *･゜ﾟ･*will no doubt be purchasing in the future （╹◡╹）

My wife was excited to order these natural sponges. They are non-scratch, and biodegradable. The whale shape is super cute. I used one sponge for a day. The abrasive side of the sponge started deforming after washing dishes for just two meals for two people. The opening by the tail, and the whale's mouth are annoying, as the sponge spreads apart when washing items. When washing knives, I find these to be a safety hazard, as the sponge bends easily, potentially exposing your hand to the knife's sharpened blade. At just $10.99 for 6, these aren't a good value, as they don't last long, are only moderately effective, and IMHO, present a safety hazard when using to wash sharp items.

These are exactly what they look like: natural sponges that have been precision cut into the shape of a whale. The sponge itself is high quality and reminds me very, very closely of the ScotchBrite "Greener Clean" natural sponges - while I'm sure they're a third party clone, they feel and work very similarly. The difference is that this one has a happy whale that will make you smile every time you go to the sink to do dishes.I was a little worried that the cuts for the tail and mouth would compromise the integrity of the sponge, but so far that doesn't seem to be the case; there's enough material surrounding the mouth slot that it's unlikely to tear, and I'm actually kind of enjoying the smaller tail because I can tuck it into crevices in dishes I'm trying to clean. The cuts are very precisely done - whether they were done with a laser or a die, they're perfect and pristine.The price is actually completely reasonable for these, especially compared to list price for a normal ScotchBrite branded sponge or for other assortments available on Amazon of off brand clones. And can you put a price on a bit of happiness during an otherwise unpleasant household task? These are the perfect motivator for a family with kids who are reluctant to help with chores, and they're fun enough I'd even consider them as a stocking stuffer.

the sponge is not durable at all, I have been replacing it every 2 weeks cause the scrubbing layer got wear and tear faster than the regular sponge. I prefer the sponge with the happy face design on it more.

I thought it was important to show the size of this particular spong/scrubby product that I will definitely keep on hand in my kitchen at all times, it's just the right fit for hand holding when cleaning dishes.I also wanted to show how it is so easy to use either side. Sometimes I use the sponge side for soft cleaning dishes that aren't very dirty and then sometimes I use the scrubby side for dishes that need a bit more effort, just had a few drops of soap to either side and you have the perfect sponge and scrubber! With daily use, each sponge lasts a week and there are six in this package. That's a month and a half (or more) of clean dishes!This is something that I would buy over and over again because not only is it sustainable but it is all natural, made from coconut fibers and wood.

Like the design and ease of use. Very cute. Stays fresh for a couple of weeks. Wish the scrubby side was a little tougher.
